GE WASHER LIGHTS FLASHING BUT NOT WORKING
It won't change because the cycle was incomplete and the safety control is preventing a restart. Until you get professional onsite service; unplug the washer; make certain all of the water is drained out, and disconnect the hoses. Have someone help you tilt the washer forward and lay on the front side. Pick it up again and reach into the tub area and spin the tube around, and kind-of move it side to side. Hook it back up, plug it into the power supply and reset the timer to start a short wash. Try to start and see if you get any action. If after all of that; nothing changed, the timer on the circuit board is stuck where you left off when the unbalanced load shut it down.
Washer drains but sometimes doesn't always spin.
Depending what unit u have most don't have belts now days the have direct drive couplers or single unit motors which act as motor and transmission all in one but more to ur point sounds like ur motor is getting week and needs replaced
Washer won't agitate or spin
Hello there and welcome to fixyathere are several things that you will need to check first ok please verrify the followingIt doesn't pump or spinIf it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.It pumps, but doesn't spinIf your washer pumps out the water but doesn't spin, check these:The lid switch may be defective. If it is, the washing machine doesn't spin. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. New water pump isn't working. There were 3 wires
lucky that the machine is plastic or you would be getting a shock
red wire is active , black wire is neutral and the green with yellow is ground
all of the wires have a color code for a purpose and must all be connected correctly
connect the pump correctly and the fault will dissapear
