Wolfgang Puck BDRC0010 10-Cup Rice Cooker - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do i get replacement parts
I just called Wolfgang Puck customer service @ 1-800-275-82173 and was told they no longer manufacture this rice cooker (DRCR10) and no longer have any replacement parts for it. My husband threw away the little rubber piece that attaches to the exhaust so now a perfectly like new appliance that I adored has to be junked. Not happy and will think twice before purchasing anything from Wolfgang Puck again..

It seems your problem need a technician, you have to adjust the THERMOSTAT and clean the contact points!
Power can't go through the rice cookers heating element very well, i think it sets only in "WARMiNG" position!
Checking the contact point and adjusting the THERMOSTAT controller screw will solve your problem!
Hope this will solve ur YUMMY RiCE probs!
I have a 5 cup riceperfect cooker, how much water
I also had problems deciding how much water to use - the measuring cup that came with the machine was not user friendly! I just use twice as much water as rice and it works fine. ie. - 1cup rice and 2 cups water I have a different model of cooker but a friend had the same issue and uses the 2/1 ratio and it works fine for her also. Good luck
Betty Crocker rice cooker
Hi,
There is a sensor that regulates how hot the cooker gets and shuts it down to the warm setting when it senses that the heat is too high...meaning that all the water has cooked off....my guess is that the sensor failed and as far as I know it is not replaceable.
Here is a tip that I wrote about rice cookers and the amount of rice and water needed...
