toshiba e-studio 181 is not working. It shows that cover is open symbol and tells the same and the printer is woken up. what to do to rectify it.pls

How to reset Toshiba E-Studio 233

If 1st time occur, u can just go to 08-400, reset the value to "0" then restart the machine.

When this code not cleat 08-400 then check these all thengs..1.Check the thermistors (1) Check if the connectors are disconnected.(2) Check if the main and edge thermistors are in contact with the surface of the fuser roller properly?(3) Check if the harnesses of the main and edge thermistors are open circuited.2. Check the IH board and IH coil(1) Check if the IH coil is broken.(2) Check if the connector of the IH coil is disconnected.(3) Check if the thermostat is blown.(4) Check if the connectors on the IH board are disconnected (AC input connector and LGC I/F connectorCN455/456).(5) Check if the IH board or the switching power supply unit are abnormal.• Replace the IH control board.3. Check the LGC board(1) Check if the connectors CN316 are disconnected.(2) Check if the conductor pattern on the LGC board is short circuited or open circuited.(3) Replace the LGC board.please vote me.Thanks Best Regards

Go into (08) mode by holding 0 and 8 when turning on the copier. 251 is the number of copies until it displays that message and 252 is the count since last Preventative maintenance. Resetting 252 will clear the message or putting 251 higher than the value of 252 will clear it as well.

You can do it by loading the new firmware on a USB key...but it is pretty complicated and the firmware is only available with a password at the Toshiba website....if you make a mistake the copier will be unusable...

Hello

Please switch the machine off.
While holding down 8+0 buttons switch the machine on.
When the machine is in test mode, input 400 and press the start button, input 0 and press enter on the display.
Switch off the machine wait 1 minute and switch the machine on.
If the error reappears the thermistors and thermo need fuses need to be replaced.

With regard to installing your dongle (i.e. memory stick type device):
on the eStudio 232 there are often THREE USB connectors: 2 type A connectors and 1 type B connector (for information on USB connector types see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Serial_Bus#Connector_types)

You should try insert the dongle into BOTH type A USB connectors (not at the same time, obviously) to see if the SCAN button is highlighted.

NOTE: your dongle needs to be version GM-2070

I had the same problem with a grayed out SCAN button when I first installed the GM-2070 dongle, but when I inserted the dongle into the other type A USB connector ... VOILA, it worked.

Dear you copier screen freez..
you press 0 and 8 key Simantenesly and other and on the copier.
when copier show CHECK TOTAL COUNTER.
WHEN you press 690 and start key. copier show 2 2
then you press ENTER AND when copier show REBORT THE MACHINE THEN OFF THE COPIER.. AND Simple ON.

Toner not loading. If the life copy of the PM parts are stil not over you can adjust the bias 05-205, the charge in grid 05-210 and manual toner adjustment 05-201.
