I have smudges running width way on my copies. I
Hello Tampa,
It sounds like you have done all you can as an end user. The cleanings you have done as far as the scan glass goes would certainly have taken care of "lines". You have smudges. I feel confident that the drum is fried. The drum is good for 75,000 to 120,000 copies depending on the enviroment/manner of usage. The drum is relatively easy to replace on YOUR copier. In fact it contains rather good instructions whithin the box. I'm serious YOU can handle it. The part number is 9630A004BA. Canon will not sell "parts" to an end user but the drum on your copier is considered a "consumable".......kinda like toner and can be purchased the same way since it's not a "part". You should be able to order it in the same manner and from the same source as you do toner. Now, you WILL need a screwdriver to do this but it is so simple that you can just laff your **** off at the guys as you solve the problem !!! :-) As I say, the instructions are darn clear. Worst case is that you will have already purchased the drum (no markup from local dealer) and its there on site so "MR TECH" has to merely put it in. I already see you smiling from having fixed the problem. :-) take care . SPINAL
E000007- 0000
E007 is fixing related error! You need to change the fixing film. After replacement of fixing film, replace the cleaning roller of pressure roller.Change the cleaning roller every 10-15K copys to prevent premature fixing problems. If you have over 300 000 copys change the press.roller bushings and rubber ring , if you have over the 500 000 copys the best solution is to replace the whole fixing unit, little expensive but worthed
I cannot clear an error

tray priority or size ?????
size is in the tray itself. Depending on the settings it reads the manual adjustments.
priority is in the menu settings
Toner low???
How is the copy quality? Are copies light? If so then the toner hopper is not adding toner to the developer assembly in which case you must call a tech. If the copies are fine then the toner sensor is dirty or faulty and must be replaced.
"Clean Glass" message
So far I've been unable to find how to disable the message but I know it can be done. Until I find how to disable message I would recommend this- there is a white piece of mylar located underneith the top frame that the scanner uses to get a white level reading during warm up. The glass must be removed in order for you to access the white mylar. Remove the glass & look underneith on the left hand side- you should see the mylar stuck to the top of the frame. You may need to slide the scanner to the right to give yourself enough room to clean it. Obviously do this with the machine off & unplugged. If you want to send me your email address I'll send you the disable instructions as soon as I find them. Please put 3045 clean glass in subject line in case it gets dumped into my junk email. My email is

I have a problem with my canon printer g3411. It has an error P03 but no paper jam. How do I solve my problem
Error P03 on a Canon printer typically indicates a paper jam, even if you cannot physically see any jammed paper. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Carefully check the paper tray and inside the printer for any jammed paper or debris.
- Remove any jammed paper or debris you find.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Attempt to print again.
If you don't see any paper jammed in the printer, there are a few other things you can try to resolve the error P03:
- Try resetting the printer. To do this, turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
- Check the ink cartridges and make sure they are properly seated and have enough ink.
- Clean the printer's rollers. Rollers are the small rubber wheels inside the printer that move the paper through the printer. Over time, dust, debris, or ink can build up on the rollers and cause paper jams. Cleaning the rollers can help resolve the issue.
- Try to update the firmware of the printer. Sometimes, a firmware update can resolve the issue.
- Check the printer's settings, ensure that the size of paper loaded match the size of paper set in the settings.
If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may want to contact Canon support for further assistance.
How to slove error e732-001 of canon ir 3225
The E732-001 error on a Canon iR 3225 indicates an issue with the fixing assembly temperature. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this error:
Reset the Condition:
Enter service mode by pressing the following sequence on the control panel: COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > ERR.
This will reset the error condition. If the message disappears, your printer is ready to use. If this doesn't work, there may be a hardware problem as addressed below.
Replace the Main Thermistor:
The main thermistor is responsible for temperature sensing. If it's faulty, it can trigger the E732-001 error.
Consider replacing the main thermistor to resolve the issue.
Check the DC Controller PCB:
If the problem persists, inspect the DC controller PCB for any defects or malfunctions.
Replacing the DC controller PCB may be necessary.
Remember to turn off the printer before performing any maintenance tasks. If the error persists or if you need further assistance, I recommend contacting your local authorized Canon dealer or the Canon Customer Support Center for professional service
How to fix a problem with the laser unit
Fixing a problem with a laser unit depends on the specific issue you're facing. Here are general steps you can consider:1. **Inspect and Clean:** Examine the laser unit for any visible dust, debris, or obstructions. Use a can of compressed air to gently blow away any particles that might affect the laser's performance.2. **Check Connections:** Ensure all cables and connections related to the laser unit are secure. Loose connections can lead to malfunctions.3. **Calibration:** Some laser units may require calibration. Consult the device manual for instructions on how to perform calibration procedures. This often involves using specific calibration tools or software.4. **Replace Toner or Cartridge:** If print quality is an issue, consider replacing the toner cartridge.
