check to see if the flame rod tip is in the flame(like the hot junction on a thermocouple). the pressure switches are a normally closed switch and a blocked flue could cause them to open. the circuit board should run through the safety switches and check them before the gas is opened at the valve. also the drain lines that you see at the inducer fan should be free of condensation but if the inducer fan has condensation in it, it will open the airflow safety switch. you will hear the crackling noise from the fan. also there should be a trap below the fan that should be full of water to keep the fan from pulling air from the wrong place. I would not suspect the board at this point

Amana window air conditioner 10000 btu
Mine has done this alot, mostly because I live in a state with ALOT of wind, and in an area with ALOT of dirt. Sounds like your coils are dirty. Try cleaning it out, or having it cleaned out. If you spray it with water just make sure your compressor is facing up and you don't use too much pressure. Hope this helps

Air conditioning
My guess would be from what you have described is that the refrigerant pressure might be low and is tripping the low pressure cut off that protects the compressor.

I'm not getting any code after installing a control board for my Amana ptac?
Does the power light come on?
If yes, then you can do a reset as below:
There is a master switch on the bottom left of the control board. Slide that to 'off' position.
Then press the hot and cold switch/key together and then slide the master switch back to 'on'.
Please put your response/observation here if that does not work or there is power light as asked on top.
Thanks

i'm not familiar with your specific unit but ..sounds like an electronic gas value has gone bad or has a bad connection when that happened to my friend it wasn't that expensive to have it fixed .. BYW it acted like this for a while then stopped working completely
