I have a DLP tv,

One of your color guns (Red, Green and Blue), have quit working correctly. It perhaps is the blue one and the red gun operating at it's usual level is washing out any other. You need all three guns to get the mix of colors, so repair is in order.

I have a Panasonic DLP, PT-56DLX76, and when I

Hi.

The high pitched noise is a capacitor or an IC that is failing. EPCOS is an electronic manufacturer. If the part is a capacitor and its melting, that is the reason for the noise. The symptoms are those of a defective PSU. Power supply will be the first part to be tested. If you have already removed the back of the TV, disconnect power and look for bulged or burnt capacitors in PSU board. Do not touch them, as capacitors can release discharge even after disconnecting power cord.

Parts are mostly not in stock. Here the part seller.

Lamp flashes red and tv

You may have a bad lamp. Open the door on the side & pull lamp. The part number is TY-LA2006. They cost about $200-225. BE SURE to reset the lamp timer. If you buy an original Panasonic TY-LA2006 lamp, it will have instructions to reset lamp timer.

Pt-56dlx76 panasonic light flashes red 3 times. I

I had a similar problem with my 42 in Philips LCD HDTV. Here was the problem. My Power Supply Board had several bad capacitors. I opened my TV (warranty was expired ofcourse) and found four bulged capacitors on the PSB. Many major electronics companiesPhilips/Magnavox, Sony, Panasonic, and others were sold capacitors that failedin 2-5 years instead of 10-20. Thecapacitors fail prematurely due to a lack of preservatives. Unfortunately, they were installed in allsorts of devices and cause a wide range of failure problems. Here are some options for you. 1. Have it fixed by a professional $$$$$$$??????? (Is itunder warranty?) Remember, TVs CONTAINHIGH VOLTAGE AND CAN KILL YOU! Do this at your own risk. 2. Open your TV and find PSB. (The board that the power cordplugs into) Check for faulty caps. If you find some (bulged or leaking) bad capsreplace the entire board. The entireboard costs around $250 right now because they are in high demand right now. They can be found at tv-part.com but supplies are limited. I would definitely shop around though. 3. Remove and then replace individual faulty caps. This takes some soldering skill. Caps are inexpensive and if you can take care of it yourselfit will save you hundreds. This may be your problem. If you determine that it might be. I have a Tip/How TO tutorialon this site that may also help. Itgives step by step instructions for replacing caps on PSB #715t2432-2. If this isyour board you are in luck. Here is theLink: Fixingthe Philips Turns/shuts off on its own problem. I'm working on uploading pictures to helpguide people though the process as well. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Hope this helps and if it does please rate itaccordingly. Good luck.Kaufman605

Resetting the timer for the

stephanie286,

Here is the porcedure:

The procedure is a little bit tricky so that you do not do it accidentally.

1. Turn on the television.
2. Press the volume down button on the TV display (not the remote)
3. While pressing the volume button, press the "split" or "PIP" button on the remote.

If it works you will see a message saying the lamp timer was reset to 0 and the indicator will turn off.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Panasonic hds700tds playing audio no videos

  1. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
  2. Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
  3. Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
  4. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
  5. Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
  6. Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
  7. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.

I have a Panasonic 50-in flat screen TV a storm came by and knocked out my TV and my Yukon no breaker was off so did it come through the antenna please help

  1. Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
  2. Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
  3. Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
  4. Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
  5. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
Hope this helps
