I'm only guessing here but it's possible the internal thermostat is broken and the oven is overheating {?} and triggering some built in safety switch that turns the oven off so it won't cause any damage. I suggest you call the company, or a local oven repair person. Letting us know if it is Gas or Electric may help too.

Did you try just unplugging from the wall outlet, and let sit for 15 seconds and plugging back in. Sort of like a re-boot on the computer? Just a suggestion.

This is not a problem that is heard of often but I have had a soloniod valve pop after a few months/keep in mind that these are electrical parts and no electrical part can be guarenteed to work for ever,I would however suggest that you get a technition out to check power delivery and usage etc just to make sure there are no spikes etc but other than that the Ariston machines are pretty good we have them here in south Africa aswell and not a lot goes wrong with them (we call them indiset for the domestic units and Ariston for the industrial units just thought I would share some useless info with you the)Let me know if you come right with this
