Is the toner smart chip
Toner smart chips are reprogrammable in most cases but you have to have pretty sofisticated equipment to do it. It would not be worth nvesting in such equipment to do just your own cartridges. That being said I am also sure that the estudio 163 does not use a smart chip. It uses just a black plastic box that holds only toner.

SP MODE AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR TOSHIBA DP
Installation Procedure:
01.Open the machine and take out all tape
02. Open the front cover and right hand side cover + blue lock press and open the black part
03. front side two scrow (big) open
04. Out of PC Unit ( drum and developer Unit)
05. done you Two part the ( drum and developer Unit)
06. developer keep on developer
07. total Items set on the machine
08. main switch on
SP mode
01. 0+5 press and main twitch same time for AJ MODE
02. 0+5 press and main twitch same time for ADMODE

Toshiba e-studio 160, c56 error code.. how can i
C56 indicates Communications error between the PFC and the CPU on the main PWA. What u can do:
1.Check if the connector CN36 or CN35 on the relay PWA is disconnected.
2.Check if any conductor pattern (PFRXD, PFREQ, PFACK, MACK/PF, PFTXD, or MREQ/PF
between the IC, IC2 and CN36) on the relay PWA is open- or short-circuited.
3.Replace the relay PWA.
4.Replace the PFC PWA.
5.Replace the main PWA.

Toshiba estudio 45 error cc9
CC9 indicates Upper stack tray lift motor is abnormal on finisher MJ-1011. U need to check the wiring and sensors.

Sir i have toshiba e studio 163 my machine
u have installed a toner that is not original ,,,try to put an original toner ,,,and then try or let this toner get empty and then try the original one,,,,

- "No cassette with paper of size requested ...
One of the cassettes is usually universal, if they tray has moving edge guides, the put in the paper you need and adjust the guides.
If the paper needed is in the cassette and you still get the message then the document feeder sensors are miss reading your original size, thy cleaning out the document feeder with a vacuum or compressed air, especially around the paper sensors..
