I can't get my Sennheiser wireless headphones to work on my TV and can only use them plugged into the Freeview decoder. The audio and visual don't quite synchronise plus I can't watch DVD's.

do you connect the base to TV?

If it seems as though the transmitter signal is being received but there is no audio, disconnect the 3 or 4 pin connector of the mic and touch the different pins while transmitting to the receiver. If there is audio hum or buzz, the mic itself is probably dead. A wire could be off inside its connector.
