Sennheiser HD 25 SP Consumer Headphones - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
When using the HD 25-1
Have you plugged the headphones into the L/mono jack or the R jack?? also, is it a headphone out or a monitor out??
Sound in one headphone keeps going off
You have a break in the cable. You don't say in what area it's in, so I will have to give you 3 ways of clearing the fault.
1: Break in, near or around the plug. The best solution is to cut off the plug making certain the break area goes with it. You can then fit a new 3.5mm plug. If you need advice on how to do this let me know.
2. Break halfway to 2-thirds along the cable. Again cut the cable to a point clear of the break, again fit a new plug. To extend it you can purchase an extension headphone cable from any hi-fi shop.
3. Break to close to headset. In which case you will need to replace the entire lead. To do this you need to open up the headphones. Access is obtained by removing the pad(s) and any foam. You might need to force the foam off. You can glue it back on afterwards. You should then see screws to open it.
Fitting new plugs or attaching the wire inside will require the use of a small soldering iron.
Cahnging plug
The standard HD25SP cable's 1/4" jack screws over the mini-jack. There's no reason for you to do any soldering. If you have a few inches of cord left from where you cut the plug off you may want to re-splice the cable back together to their corresponding colours. Then unscrew the 1/4" ******** to reveal the mini-jack.
Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has green lit power light blinks on and off. And headset doesnt have any volume. Help!
If your Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has a green lit power light that blinks on and off and doesn't have any volume, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the batteries: Ensure that the batteries are charged and inserted correctly into the headset. You may also want to try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.
- Check the audio source: Make sure that the audio source is turned on and the volume is turned up. You may also want to try connecting the headset to a different audio source to see if the problem is with the source.
- Check the audio cable: If you are using an audio cable to connect the headset to the audio source, make sure that it is plugged in securely at both ends.
- Reset the headset: Try resetting the headset by turning it off, unplugging the transmitter from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging the transmitter back in and turning the headset on again.
- Check for interference: Make sure that the transmitter and headset are not too far apart or obstructed by walls or other objects. Also, ensure that there are no other devices nearby that may be causing interference.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, you may need to contact Sennheiser customer support or take the headset in for repair.
HOW DO I CONNECT MY SENNHEISER RS 120 HEADPHONES TO MY LG UHD TV MODEL 55UK63
Hello Mike, your LG TV, does not have a headphone output, it only has optical fiber audio output
the options that I suggest are,
1) Connect the optical fiber output of the LG, to an AV receiver, that has said input and place the headphones in this equipment,
2) Buy an optical fiber to audio converter by RCA L and R and this is connected to a headphone amplifier
I send you links to the products that are sold in my country
I hope you solve your concern
Greetings Franco Dosil

SENNHEISER EW100 G2 wireless microphone RECEIVER with lcd flashing all the time. Not functional.
Hi Edgar, it is important that the receiver works, because there is a dialogue between the transmitter and the receiver to confirm that they are on the same frequency, that is why the transmitter is blinking, you should repair the receiver and look for the frequency or channel that the transmitter is found and it will stop flashing
The batery in my sennheiser headphone only last 3 minutes after charging.the chargin lightin the charger dont come on
Obviously your rechargeable battery isn't getting charged. It's probably a good battery as it recovers enough to run for 3 minutes after you try charging it. (all that's happening is the battery is allowed to rest and it recovers a little bit of it's capacity.)
As to why it's not getting charged, it could be the charger or the wiring in the headphones or the wiring in the base or a few other possibilities. You didn't give us a model number or any other details so we can't get any closer than that.
