Is it possible to install a wireless network card
No, all the hardware inside Macs is, unfortunately, proprietary. If you need wireless support, I would suggest a USB wireless adapter, or a wireless bridge. Check out Newegg.com for one of these.
I hope this helps!

Powers down shortly after boot
Thank for contacting Fixya, I will be glad to assist you. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:• First, hold in your power button for approximately 10 seconds to do a hard shutdown. • Once your Mac is shutdown, you will need to perform what is called a PRAM reset (Parameter RAM)• Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously .• Turn on the computer.• Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.• Now, hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the third time.• Release the keys and allow the Mac to start up.• Please update me to let me know if this works. Thanks.-The MacTechTrainer
My mac is very slow. especially when playing
Well, there are many reasons that may causing a Mac computer running
slow, but generally two factors: hardware part & system part. For
hardware part: I guess it's OK if your Mac is not that old. For system
part: there might be a lot of junk files, caches, registry errors... out
there which largely slow down any Mac machines. Actually about 80% slow Mac
caused by this reason, if so, try cleaning the system. Learn more from:

How do I remove Fliptoast
First things first. Apps that say they help you never do - they always cause more trouble. OK. Open system preferences and locate ACCOUNTS (fourth row down). Click on your user name and then one the right hand side click on the tab that says 'Login Items'. You will see a few things listed, one should be the fliptoast thing. Highlight its name then click on the - sign in the box next to the +sign at the bottom. That should take ffliptoast out of the startup items. Now restart your mac. In theory, Fliptoast should now not be running and you should be able to locate all the fliptoast things in the mac and bin them. (don't forget to empty the bin). See what happens and please post back if it works. (or otherwise)
I have a late 2009 imac keyboard and it started
Try restarting the computer and hold the space bar during its booting up sequence. This will reset the drivers associated with the keyboard, trackpad and mouse. If you still have this issue afterwards, post again.
How to get photos off of old mac hardrive. It stopped working
Hi Cindy. Is it the Mac that has stopped working or the hard drive? If it's the Mac then the drive is probably OK and can be accessed though anopther mac after removing it from the Mac chassis. If the Mac will power up then it's drive can often be accessed even if the mac itself won't do anything. If the HD itself is not working then things are more difficult. It is most likely going to cost you regardless of the nature of the failure. Failed HD recovery is not cheap. It just goes to shjow that when we kept our photoghraphs in a shoebox under the bed all we had to worry about was the house catching fire.Backups are cheap. when you get this sorted, the very next thing you must do is get a back-up drive.
Receive 400 bad request in safari
Have you tried under the safari menu resetting safari and then emptying the cache or you could download firefox or one of the other browsers available to see if they work. Hope this helps.
Imac to jvc
Hi. A couple of things to try.Switch everything off. Make sure your connections are sound then switch on the TV. Then switch on the mac. With luck the system should sort itself out. However, I have heard of others who have had nothing but grief trying to get similar arrangements to work.Normally ther Mac does it's own thinking, works out what is at the other end and puts up the display without any problems - other than the picture width being invariably wrong until you find the correct size. There are no drivers to download - the issue is generally that the TV is not reporting back to the computer the correct resolution and scan rates. You may have to dive deeper into the TV's menus to locate the means of altering the parameters.
