Washer is shaking while spining
Just from what you stated .If your cloaths are unbalanced it will wobble while in spin cycle,if its not unbalanced, Probily a broken spring, these units use 3-4 springs ,on the wash drum ,to keep them stable while in the spin cycle.
How do I replace the valve? I didnt see any screws, clips ect.

The water does not drain , the washer sometimes
Hi Karyn.
I understood that you already checked the drain filter at the front bottom.
If you haven't done it yet check also drain hose at the back. Make sure
that setting is as from manual. it should be 33 inches, check also
height, connection and check that is not kinked. If the drain hose is
set incorrectly you get water siphoning back to the drain pump and
machine does not drain. For settings see your owners manual or pages
9/10 of the service manual below.
If the drain hose is OK, then the drain pump and the control module must be tested.
Disconnect the drain pump and measure the resistance at the connector. Impedance must be between 140 and 200 Ohms. Replace the drain pump if it is faulty.Check the voltage out from central control unit to drain pump when pump is energized. If there is not voltage, replace the central control unit. Also have a look at the pressure switch. The pressure switch determines
when
to start/stop the drain pump and when to advance to rinse. The pressure
switch is located in control assembly. Clean the hose connected to the
pressure switch. The switch is difficult to test. Replace the switch if
pump and volts at control unit are OK.
Here the part.
Ohms reading is done with power not connected. Testing with power on must be done by a trained person.
Here a service manual covering different models.Regards.Ginko
Nexxt 500. Not getting
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This sounds very much like the motor is failing- often shown during the spin phases and OK on the normal wash phases.
Motors- and belts, which is sensible to change at the same time- are easy to be changed by a competent person:-
REMOVE POWER FROM THE MACHINE AND REMOVE THE BACK.
The motor support bolts, normally 2, should be loosened and the belt removed then remove the bolts completely
With the motor it is false economy to just have the brushes changed. Experience of others is that the brushes may only last months unless, that is, the motor is totally refurbished. Refurbishing includes skimming the commutator on which the brushes run. Without skimming the brushes do not sit firmly on the commutator but straddle it- the centre is often more worn than the outer part.
Unfortunately motors are not cheap- the motor for our 18+ yearold Bosch cost GBP250 but it will probably outlive us!
Often putting the new belt on is a bit of a struggle, even with the motor 'loose', because it is new and smaller!
Once on it should be tensioned by pulling the motor against the belt firmly- but not over tight- and the motor support bolts tightened.
ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD ANY FORM OF LEVERAGE BE USED TO TENSION THE BELT. THAT COULD LEAD TO DAMAGE TO THE BELT, MOTOR AND BEARINGS- EXPENSIVE!

My washer will not spin and it reads E:04 on the
The machine is a bit different than most washers, so
here is help when you get "error 04"...Your pump is plugged. There is a
round 'door' on the lower front of the washer. At the 5-O'clock position
in the door there is a small hole. Put a small screwdriver blade in the
hole, push in (just a little), and you can rotate the door clockwise.
When the hole is in the 6-O'clock position, the door will come out and
you can get to the problem.
Immediately facing you is a black connector, about 4 inches (10cm) in
diameter. When you unscrew this, all the water left in the washer will
spill out onto the floor. use a pile of towels to catch this). The
Black connector unscrews counterclockwise, and takes quite a few turns.
Once you have it out, you'll find the source of your clog
Hope this answers all your questions

How do I keep my front load washer from vibrating
SAME ANSWER FOR YOUR OTHER POSTING ;-0)
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly ;-0)
Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi wwwylie,
First check the Drain Pump filter, as the last 2 cycles of a machine is Drain & Spin, and if the Drain pump cannot drain the water, the filter may be clogged and the cycle won't progress to spin.
Please follow my below Tip on how to do this:
ACCESSING, DRAINING & CLEANING THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER...

How do you set the timer on the washer
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Methinks you could do with a manual for your washer- for now and probably later! Sorry but FixYa cannot do that direct- members of the forum are just people from all over the world, probably working from home, and not representing any particular manufacturer ;-0)
???
Manual
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Bosch front loader 500 series. error msg E;02
Hello,
E02 means the unit is not getting the proper amount of water or the drain is clogged and the unit is unable to pump the water out of the machine. Remove the round access panel on the lower right front panel and take the drain catch off by twisting it. Water will come out so be careful, remove and clear all the debris in the drain catch. If you do not find anything in the drain area you may have a clog either in one of the drain lines going to or coming from the pump in the unit. If you have assured that the pump and hoses are not clogged and the pump is working as well then you would look as a last resort at the water inlet valve. Assure firstly that the hoses are not frozen or debris clogged and shutoff the water and unscrew your hoses and check the filters in the screw in connector side or the inlet valve. Lastly if you have assured that there are no clogs with the drain area on the unit and there are no clogs going into the units water valve and you have tested for the presence of power at the solenoid at the top of the water valve and you had power you would replace the water valve. If you have any further questions message me back and please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future Thanks Rick

Error message E27 appears and
E27 means there is a problem with the door lock. Unplug the machine for 5 minutes and try again. If the error code returns you will need to replace the door lock assembly.
If you have anymore questions please comment me back.
Vibration
Does it have runner pads on the leveling feet on the washer resting on the pedestal?
If so, and it still moves all over, you will have to fasten the washer to the pedestal with bolts and nuts. I had a GE that did the same thing. I finally laid them on their side, drilled out the holes to fit bolts and washers I bought from Home Depot. They really don't make that clear, do they?

I have a Bosch 500 series washer with a E27 eoor
Hi tbrowske,
In most cases of this error, simply plugging it out (While the PCB is active), waiting 5 min, and plugging it back in should reset the error. Though this will not fix the Door Lock. If your Door is locked closed, with washing inside, you may need to lift the Top Panel off, then from the top, break open the Door Lock itself, to dislodge the door (Remember to drain the water before, using the filter compartment)
Please Note: Your Bosch should still be under guarantee, I believe has a 3 Year Guarantee, and should come out to you with no costs. Just a thought.
Kind Regards

Will not finish is at spin and stoped, door will
Hello,
Welcome to fixya.
The "E04" error code on your Bosch washer refers to a drainage problem as you may or may not already know. ( it can mean door lock error, but that is usually a by-product of it not draining )
What you may have is either a partially clogged pump, or a faulty pump...the later being the least likely.
You haven`t mentioned if you`ve actually visually checked the pump...it is likely just that, a blocked pump.
Anyway, here`s the most likely way to remedy a E04 code.
**Unplug the washer from the wall or turn off the breaker before attempting any repairs**
- Get some towels and if possible a wet/dry vac. If the machine drained, it won't be too bad. If your machine is stuck full of water, hopefully you won't get wet. ( maybe you`re lucky enough to be close to a floor drain )
- Locate the round door on the front of the machine (about 6" in diameter, lower right corner)
3. Find a drill bit or small screwdriver that fits in the hole in the round door.
4. Insert the bit into the hole in the door. It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force. Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free. (the edges are very sharp so be careful or wear chain-mail gloves).
5. Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand. ( you should also see a green ring with a string attached, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first is usually a good plan. This will deal with the door lock issue but it likely isn`t unlocking due to the water in the tub )
**There is a small collector lip at the bottom of the cap, that is where you can hold the wet/dry vac to catch the water. Unscrew slowly so you don't get flooded, until it is unscrewed all the way out.**
6. Now pull out the trap and visually inspect the inside of the pump as well as the filter/trap. Hopefully you'll find the item/debris that initiated the error code.
7. After removing any debris or obstruction`s re-install the button trap/lint filter and plug the washer in to power or reset the breaker and give it a test.
8. Run a load and watch for leaks. Leave the pump access door off until you are sure you screwed the cap in tight and there are no leaks.
Ultimately you may have a faulty drain pump, or a lock, but I would certainly start by performing the things I listed first.
Let me know if you require further assistance and if not and this indeed solves your problem, please rate the solution I provided accordingly.
Thank you for coming to "fixya" and good luck.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)
