Its real Funny monitor dont need driver to produce audio it needs connector and if you hvent manual here it is and find how to. You need audio cable. But if drivers arent installed on your pc audio computer dont produce audio and monitor also cant "say" anything. Find device magager and ensure that every device works correctly. If not wrire motherboard model and name and post then I find drivers for you.

I agree that it seems difficult. Wrap your arms around the monitor and push straight down.

Check on the back of the monitor for headphones plugs or cables.

Try to re-install your audio driver !! Also go to add and remove and remove media player and then go and re-install windows media player again( probably a newer version ) should work!!! swampratt200 AAAEEE!!!!!

One of the speakers is blown so unless you can find a replacement speaker for the blown one then you have to either buy a set of other speakers to replace the speakers in the monitor or buy speakers you can hook up to output of the computer.

Try re-downloading your video drivers.

It is probably a problem with the audio jack, try using other speakers or connect another audio source to your monitor. If the problem persists, you better contact your vendor for a faulty product

go to the tools menu, select internetoptions, you can see Appearance at thelower left with colors as your first choice etc

I found in the folder of Hp the file that does the " UPDATES".
So, thanks for the offer to help me, but all is well now with me and the Hp UPDATES.

If you have tried changing hook up cables and tested your monitor on another computer with the same result. You have to take the monitor in for servicing. Something has gone wrong in the control circuit and it needs repair. Hope this helps.

This monitor series( HP Compaq WF1907) seem to have a inherent problem with the sleep mode control circuit. You should take this unit into the service center for repair. Hope this helps.

The Secoind wntry has a download. Download it then extract the files to the desktop. Dont worry if you get errors when the program runs it will fix them, if they come up just press enter to keep going. Once the program completes install the driver again and it should work as it did for me.

Do you mean roaring sound? One of fans is going bad. It can be in the power supply (replace power supply), the CPU fan or the case fans. Take the case side off and try to get as close as you can to listen where the sound is coming from. These fans are very necessary and must be replaced if found to be faulty.
