Removing bolt from a winchester model 67
Pull stock off your model 67 win. The trigger stays in the stock . Lift up on the barrel and action while pulling it toward the end of the stock. To separate them. Next open the bolt , then reach under the action grasp the arched piece of spring steel . Pull down gently on the spring steel retainer while pulling back on the bolt. You can also remove the ejector assembly in the same manner pulling down on it. Assemble in reverse order.

When was my winchester model 12 16ga shotgun
Nicknamed, the Perfect Repeater at its introduction, this shotgun se
tthe standard for pump action shotguns throughout its fifty one (51)
year high rate manufacture and production life. From 1912 until the
shotgun was first discontinued by Winchester in 1963, nearly two million
Model 12 shotguns were manufactured and produced in various barrel
lengths and grades. Initially the M12 was chambered strictly for 20
gauge, however 12 and 16 gauge versions came out in or around 1914, and
the 28 gauge version of the Winchester Model 12 came out in 1934. A
.410 version was never produced; instead, a stripped down variation of the
Model 12, commonly known as the Model 42, was derived directly from
scaled drawings of the model 12 and produced instead. The year of manufacture for serial number 787927 is 1939. hope this helps! im pretty sure that this is right. check it out on the web.

Where is the serial number on a winchester model
- The model 72 was made from 1938-1959, before serial numbers were required in 1968 from the gun control act.

I have an old octagon barrel 22 long rifel model
Nice rifle! It depends on the shape and depth of the dent, but I think you might be able to push it out from the inside. If it's not too deep or cracked, you can try this method:
1. measure the inside diameter of the rod sleeve (called a tubular magazine). Sorry, I don't have one, so I can't tell you exactly what this measurement is.
2. Go to you local hardware store and buy a hardwood dowel rod that is just slightly smaller in diameter than the tube.
3. Round over the end of the dowel slightly with some sandpaper, clean and wipe it down with gun oil.
4. Slide the dowel into the tube until it reaches the dent, and tap it until it begins to pass that point. Don't let it go too far past, or it will be difficult to pull back out. Don't force the dowel into the tube if it doesn't slide freely (up to the point of the dent) or you won't be able to remove it. And don't push it past the point where you can grip it securely.
5. Pull the dowel back out, rotate slightly, and repeat.
But, use your best judgement: If it doesn't look like this method will work based on the shape and depth of the dent, you should take it to a competent gunsmith, and let them sort it out. Assuming that the rest of the rifle is in good condition, you have a classic that's worth repairing. Best of luck!

Winchester 12 ga defender mod 1300 mfg. date
I think you might have better luck contacting winchester support or one of the bigger gun stores or even an online gun forum as this isn't quite a spotting scope question ;-]
http://www.winchesterguns.com/customerservice/index.asp
They should be able to tell you if the barrel is available and maybe how much or what dealer has one.
The 1300 was made from 1978 to 2006 so that should narrow down the date at least.

Cocking a winchester m12
you need to push that slide release unless you have pulled the trigger. If you pulled the trigger it will then release the slide. This is there so you don't accidently ejeat an unfired shell

Model 9422M 22Mag gun was stolen aprox. a year ago
You can try to clean the rust with toothpaste and a lot of rubbing with a soft rag. Have a gunsmith order a magazine tube for you and install it. This shouldn't be expensive. hope this helps you

Winchester 94 Lever Hangs Up
This is the way the action works. Try working the lever all the way through the stroke and see how it works. If it still hangs up then look for a screw or pin that is out of position that may be obstructing the thigger group from returning in to position. hope this helps

I need to remove the forearm on a winchester 94
You shouldn't have to get the band past the front sight to remove the forearmbut you can turn the band upside down and slide it off. Depends on which sight is on your rifle. You may have to tap the front sight out of the dovetail slot

Slide arm does not go completely forward
My Friend,
It seems you really have outdone yourself! The only thing I can recommend is to go to your local gunsmith ( a gun store could help in the location of one hint, hint) and have them disassemble the old gal. they will assess the damages done by your rookie mistake, and hopefully it's not too bad eh (she's a beauty she is). next time I STRONGLY recommend you take every precaution necessary to not damage you the guns or others. I STRONGLY recommend cleanings after every use, and please be sure to slide the slide arm all the way forward next time. You are lucky you were not hurt.
In my opinion though you may have broken a crucial spring, lock the slide gate shut, and/or dislocated the base of the spring. the shell not fitting I would say is a barrel issue with unburnt black powder, or a small dent in the barrel form the slide mechanism. BUT I HIGHLY recommend you do not try to repair this in your home or take my diagnosis as I have not seen the gun, nor am I a professional gunsmith.
Best Wishes,
KidKRYLON
