Transmission shifting late or not at all
A couple of weeks ago, my transmission was failing me too. I found that my gears wouldn't shift and that my vehicle would make noise whenever I aggressively tried to force a shift. However, I had my vehicle inspected and found that it just needed several new parts and then everything started to run smoothly. Does your Dodge make any noise when you try to shift it?

Brake pedal goes to floor changed brakes, proportions valves and bled brakes and pedal still goes to floor what do I check next?
With no air in the brake system, (because it has been properly bled) if the pedal will go to the floor when pressure continues to be applied to the brake pedal and there are NO external brake fluid leaks in the system such as via a deteriorated flexible brake hose, then the problem will normally be with a worn brake master cylinder (MC) . Heavy wear in the internals of the brake MC , (the pistons and bore), will cause the problem you have. This is a common problem on older car with lots of miles on them where the brake MC has had a great deal of use and where the brake fluid has not been changed as frequently as it should be.
If the MC was in good shape, you have no air trapped in the MC or in the brake lines, and the brake pedal goes to the floor then you would have an external fluid leak as the leak releases pressure in the hydraulic system as you continue to apply it with the brake pedal.
If the brake MC has to be replaced (or is otherwise removed for a repair work on the car) it is imperative the air is bled out of the master cylinder itself when the new MC is to be installed (or the original is replaced) and there is a procedure for this. If the brake MC unit is not bled of air, then applying the brakes will compress the air in the MC unit and you will get a low pedal. (Bleeding the brake lines on the car does NOT remove any air trapped in the brake MC due to failure to bleed the MC itself).

I just replaced battery.Auto start not working, does auto start have to be re programed!
Yes. If it's 'autostart.ca' on the back of the fob...info available on line...very easy to do...involves the safety button under the hood or the little button on the receiver stuck up behind your rearview mirror on the windshield...just have to count signal flashes and such...and be able to follow and keep track of your sequence of entries. A bit of programing also..if you need a new remote.
2003 dodge neon goes forward no problems but no reverse
If we assume it's an automatic....and the shifter locks in position for each selection...etc....
1. Your transmission fluid is too low or too dirty to engage reverse.
2. Your reverse bands are worn out or damaged from shifting to or from reverse while moving forward?
Mine had reverse totally burned out but drove ahead fine...for a while.
How do i fix a dodge neon code p0715 ?
Could be any one or more of these problems, but the only way to know sure is to take it in to a transmission shop.
Common Problems That Trigger the P0715 Code
- Defective Input/Turbine Speed Sensor
- Defective Shift Solenoids
- Defective Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
- Defective Valve Body
- Dirty transmission fluid that restricts the hydraulic passages
