RK7136 locked in safe position . How do I unlock
I am guessing you got an answer by now, but I saw on Amazon someone asked this recently. I remember this problem when I got mine. I assume you mean the arm that lowers and raises the saw, not the locking mechanism for the table. As you face the saw, look at the guard. There is a slightly curved arm that goes from the guard toward the back of the saw. On the piece the guard arm attaches to at the back of the saw on the left side, there is a "pin" that sticks out on the left side. It looks like a bolt that is longer than the others near it. Gently push down on the top of the front of the saw to take pressure off the arm pin, and then just pull the pin to your left, like you were trying to remove it. It doesn't come out all the way, but releases the lock. If you have kids around, best to lock it when not using it...safety first. Oh...and their manual sucks!
Blade bolt is stripped
I assume that the head of the bolt is rounded off, so you can't get a hold of it to remove it. (Most people say "stripped" when they mean the threads of the bolt or the hole are destroyed.) First, confirm the direction you need to turn it, which differs if the blade is on the right or left. If you are looking at the head of the bolt, the teeth of the blade will be pointing in the direction that you need to turn the bolt to loosen it. I assume you have already tried vise-grips to no avail. The next easiest thing to try is a small rotary grinding tool (like a dremmel) - you can use that to grind two parallel flat surfaces on the bolt so that you have something to grip. If the head of the bolt is too thin for that to work, you are going to have to use a screw extractor which requires you to drill a hole in the head of the bolt. However, if this is a left-handed thread (which would be the case if the teeth of saw are pointing clockwise, you will need a left-handed screw extractor - which might be hard to find. Good luck.
Why my Makita disc cutter has spark wont start
If the fuel in it is 2 or more months old dump it out and put in fresh fuel and try statring. Also try try a squirt of starting fluid into the carb. If it fires on it you may need to do this a few times to pull the old fuel in the lines through till the fresh fuel can get to the carb.
