hi , The problem might be due to any of the following reasons
1 ) Ur memory card must be very old . This usually happens to all memory cards that it won't be detected by the computer .In this case ur memory card is corrupted and nothing could be done .
2 ) Ur memory card reader might me outdated that it doesn't support ur memory card . The solution would be to do a firmware upgrades for the readers .
3) Try to read ur memory card in some other computer . if it is being detected ,please format it . Then u will be from ur problem .will give u the steps
