Hi, the reasons why a cell phone will reboot itself why trying to make an outgoing call is an application installed on your cell phone or through internet download of applications that has been affected by cell phone VIRUS...

When VIRUS affects a cell phone, it makes the cell phone to malfunction and sometimes it restarts by itself due to being unable to stable the memory of the phone..

To solve this problem of the cell phone restarting itself, you will need to flash the phone memory. Flashing the phone will restore back the phone to it normal state.

You can use this link to see how to flash your phone

Flashing a cell phone will erase carrier data from the memory. Cellular companies can usually do this for a fee. Online buyer sites sell the software kit that will flash a cell phone from home computers.

To flash a phone you will need to rewrite the PRL file by connecting your phone to a computer with the needed equipment. Your best bet is to take your phone to a dealer that flashes phones on a regular basis. For more information

Take care.

Use the last 4 numbers of your cell number. If you bought it used...look for the info in the phone menu and try the last 4 numbers. Last resort is to take it to your carrier but you may lose all of your info.

Yes because your LCD has gone bad but rest of the mobile is working perfectly. Now you are required to change the LCD. Visit any mobile repair shop and get a new LCD changed. They charge only for LCD cost not for replacing it.

To make your GPRS working you should first need the settings for it.You cannot set it.Your network provider should give the default gateway address for it.Then only you can use it.
If you already have set the GPRS setting and now if it is not working because the network service provider would have changed the gateway Ip address. You have to again set the new one.

Please call your network service provider and ask him to send the GPRS settings for your mobile.He/she will ask for the mobile model and send you the appropriate GPRS setting. You will get the settings as an SMS.go to iIbox and save the setting...

Now you can work with it.Your phone has no issues with GPRS.Only network service provider has to give the correct settings.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-5 or 6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
You can find displays for fair price at :

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

If your phone is under warranty (usually 1 year), contact Verizon for a replacement.

If your phone is out of warranty, I would suggest to replace the battery. There are many places online

Hope this helps.
