Hey, Recently I broke the LCD display on my Nokia 6300. I couldn't find any info on disassembling it online so I decided to write my own guide. My Nokia 6300 shows only a black screen? I suspect my baby dribbled over it too much but the battery seems fine. I can receive and make calls but cannot see anything on the screen. Any tips?
Baby-dribble + Phone = Dead Phone If your phone was exposed to baby-dribble, your kid might have killed your Phone. Take it to your local Service-Center and have them take a look at it. Let them decide if the phone could be repaired or might be up for early replacement. Normal warranty-conditions might not cover the damage if its "moisture-damage".

i bought a nokia 6300 today and it is blocked to optus network but i want it to be unlocked so i can use my telstra sim do you have the restriction code to unlock it??
No Brother it is paid service and many providers give it. U may search them here at fixya or other mobile support forum like GSMHOSTING, GSMHELP etc. No one can give u such code because it is part of Nokia security. The code is as per cell's unique IMEI and only can be obtained by professional software tools like BB5 box and other compitable tools. It is advisable to visit nearby mobile technician who have such box. He will charge u for that. If it sounds informative do not forget to vote.

Hi everyone
Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1)
If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should
find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please
read bellow.
2) You must get a phone that is on the same network
as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your
PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will
tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to
reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

I changed the security code for my Nokia 6300 and i cant seem to remember what it is. I have tried all the passwords that i have ever used before but none seem to work . I have also tried the default one 12345 and that doesn't work either.
My IMEi is: 359544010292294 im connected with vodafone and live in Sydney, NSW, Australia
