Your fan motor probably needs additional maintenance, in the way of lubrication.
After removing the unit from power, access the Fan blade and spin with
finger. If there is any resistance to note then the spindle running
through 2 bearing surfaces needs lubrication.
See the other question/answer to fan removal - motor lube.
If you have any sort of humidity to contend with and have a FreshAir
model F1 or earlier different type, they seem to have some corrosion
problems after a period of a couple years.
It is just a function of the machine/job that necessitates such maintenance.
My unit would display e001 and e003 errors. Cleaning the filter and replacing the ceramic ozone plate did not fix it. Ended up taking the board out and inspecting it. Three capacitors were bad. After replacing, the system is working again.
Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.
You may check to make sure that the power cord is correctly connected to the outlet. Test the outlet is functioning properly using another appliance or lamp. Also, check the fuse or circuit breaker. The outlet may be overloaded if other appliances are also in use. Establish and correct the cause of the overload. If none of these works, then there is something wrong with your purifier unit and contact the store where you purchase it or Honeywell for replacement. It is advised not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
You can purchase a wide variety of high-quality Honeywell replacement parts for your Honeywell air purifier direct from Think Crucial with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

Could be bad display or faulty circuit board. I'm not sure if it's fixable in the field but call Vollara (they bought Ecoquest) & ask about these parts or what it costs it send unit back to them to fix it. 800-989-2299.
I'm thinking it's the circuit board. I would call Vollara (they bought Ecoquest) & see if you can get a circuit board or send back to them to fix. 800-989-2299. Or, you can Google circuit board for Fresh Air & see if there are any suppliers that you can get it from.
It doesn't sound fixable in the field. It may be a control panel issue. Contact Vollara (which bought Ecoquest) & get through to tech support. 800-989-2299.
Did you get it opened? The customer service people at the home office are very helpful. Call them at 800.989.2299 and press 4. If you need further assistance or any parts, you can email me through my site.

The front panel (LED) panel needs to be replaced. Depending on where you are, you may be able to send to a local person to repair. The home office/factory offers a trade in at this time or a flat rate of repair depending on which unit you have. I'm happy to help you further. Message me on my site.

When the green LED starts to blink, means that there is a bulb failure in the RCI module. It typically glows greenish blue when it working. Check the connector to see if it is seated properly, and also check the power connector for problems. I had a problem with the power connect not making a good contact and it caused the power to be intermittent. I was able to clean the connector with a can of electrical contact cleaner from Radio Shack to fix this problem. If you can't get the bulb to light, you will need a new RCI module.
As for the purification plate, the one that shaped like a tongue depressor, it does not matter which way it go back in to the unit. You should be able to get parts from your dealer or you can call the company at 800 989 2299. Hope this helps.
There are two Philip screws located on the edges of the back. Remove them this will allow the back to be taken off. Then remove the two screws at the top bracket that holds the filter in place..Ypu can remove the filter and bracket No need to remove any more of the screws on the back . From there you will see the plates and another filter. You can get at them by removing the two screws on the left and right of the plates..You can take the plates and filter out for cleaning and change the bulb if needed....NOTE; the filter on the back is resting on a activation switch just make sure when replacing the filter and bracket is pushed down to activate or the machine will not work..good luck....
bad capacitor in the control head..if you run it at full speed, you may be able to run it hardwired(but it becomes a safety issue) may need it replaced..
Hello! I fix these, sometimes. If you wish to try yourself, you will need to take the machine all apart, and clean each and every electrical connection. You will be using very fine sandpaper. You will also need to replace the square screen inside the back that stand up vertically, it is about 3-4 inches square. If you do all these things, you may fine it will work again. If not, you will need to contact the company for a replacement. Be blessed.
