my F&P front load dryer would not start - it would hum when I pushed the start button. After trial and error taking the top off, then the front panel with the door I found the lint exhaust was completely blocked. After doing a thorough cleaning of the dryer and putting it back together it worked! (note: DE60 Elba dryer)

You have one of two problems, either the thermostat has opened or your element has failed. You will need to open up the drier and test both. I need a complete model number to cross and get you parts for this problem.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

Hello. The squeaking is likely your rear bearing. The only fix is to replace it. Regarding those self-leveler feet, go to searspartsdirect.com and enter your model number. You will then see a complete set of diagrams showing exactly how each part fits into another. Joe
