Bionaire upright fan stopped blowing air

Throw it away. I have come to conclude that Bionaire is a junk brand that does not service their products. I have a bionaire model BCM646 humidifier purchased at COSCO and the water tank broke.
NO! I did not drop it, it just sat in the corner. I have not even used all the factory filters that came with it.
Who would have thought a made in China product (for American idiots) would break and not have replacement parts?
Such a shock considering their fine reputation.

My baioniar fan not work properly only swing but

I found my own solution for fixing my fan, I took the cover off of the fan by removing the base, and the three screws that hold the cover on, I cold start the fan by turning it on and forcing the blades to turn, But that was the only way it would work. What I found was at the top of the shaft that goes through the fan there is a rubber cap that holds grease it is held on with two screws , The grease in the cup was hard and wouldn't let the fan move freely, So I cleaned out the old grease and put in some new grease that I had here it is grease used for my pool pump motors to keep the seals soft so this grease wont get hard. I put the fan back together and it is working fine. I hope that this works for you. Denis K.

The fan stopped working when it was moved from one

Unplug from outlet when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. The possible reason for light not coming on is either the power outlet in which fan is connected is faulty or the fan power cord itself is not plugged in properly.Remove and re-check both the possibilities. If both checked ok then its time to check the power to the outlet by meter.Remove the fan power cord and check it with continuity tester.if the power cord is short then continuity tester will not glow.if the power cord is ok the tester will glow red light. If power cord checked ok then its time to check the internal power supply board. There is a fuse and other electrical components on the board. If any of the one gets short or stops functioning the fan light will not power On. The components needs to be checked with meter and faulty component has to be replaced. 1. Set the fan on a dry level surface. 2. Plug power cord into any standard 120V AC outlet. 3. To turn the fan on, press either speed control button. 1-Low, 2=high. 4. To turn the fan off press the on/off button. 5. To turn on the oscillation feature press the oscillation button once. To turn the oscillation feature off press the oscillation button once. Cleaning inside the fan

Unplug the unit from the wall for safety. Remove the two screws in the upper hand grip recess (upper back of the unit). The two screws must be completely removed (not just loose and setting in the holes). Once the two screws are out, the back half of the fan cover can be slid downward (some amount of force is needed to unsnap the two halves from each other but be careful since the parts are all plastic and can possibly snap). Once the back is unsnapped from the front, you can lift the back half away from the front half and the inside parts are now accessible. I have found on my fan that it is the top fan shaft / bushing that is causing the squeaking noise that so many have complained about. I have found that periodically lubricating the top shaft/bushing will make the fan sound like new again - for a while. Every 2 - 3 weeks I need to clean (wipe off old lube) and re-apply fresh lube).

Makes a loud noise when it is turned on. Can't open it.

If it is making a loud humming sound it is probably getting weak and will have to be replaced. Is it doing it in all speeds? Motor replacement would probably not be worthwhile unless it is a very expensive unit. I'd opt to replace the unit.
