I have a whirlpool dryer

check the t-stats on the heater box, usually the one in the back or up top,set your meter on 20k ohms, pull at least one wire off the part you want to check, put the leads on each side of the part where the wires connect to it,if you see 1 the part is bad or open if you see anything else but 1 the part is good or closed,so if you checked everything the only two things left the motor and timer,If you would want to check power to the timer. If you are getting 120vac between BU and WB then you have a bad timer,as long as you checked the thermal fuse, all the t-stats and the push to start switch and check the back where the cord connects to the block to make sure you have 240 volts, also if something is cooked in the timer if you remove it and shake it you might hear pieces rattling around inside it,hope this helps you out.

I have whirpool dryer mod

Hello, welcome to FixYa. I understand you have an issue with your dryer, correct ? Based on the items you listed, I gather it isn't heating as well. I have a couple of things, first can you identify the parts you replaced by part number, and second have you verified the dryer has 240volts inside the cabinet ? I will watch for your reply and help you going forward. Regards, Macmarkus :)
