New toner has nothing to do with the problem. It is a coincidence. Print a counter page. If it is clean the optics are dirty. If not, then check the fuser for wear or the drum unit for wear.

The Gestetner web site has several manuals for this machine that should help you to get the scanning working. Be sure it came with this capability. According to the product literature network scanning capability is an option.

You should try getting your money back from the company you bought that toner from, and find a new supplier if you can't get it from Gestetner. Hi. Please ping your DSM620D to see if the machine is connected to your network. Click "Start" then run CMD. On the DOS prompt, type "ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" without the quotes then hit enter. Replace xxx with the actual IP address of your machine. Please let me know if you get successful result or not.

yes in the user tools under system settings, paper settings turn aps on. auto paper select. Also see paper settings under print settings

delete avast and go for eset nod 32 and go to the firewall settings and make sure your printer name is not blocked it has to be accessed to work

No you can't disconnect the sensor to continue printing.
Try opening the front and right doors and then close them.
Switch off and on again after 5 seconds.
If jam B still there, possible causes may be:
Exit sensor defective;
Exit sensor lever stucked;
Check the registration sensor/lever;
Rotate the registration roller with your hand slowly - there may be a piece of paper keeping the registartion sensor On.

You can't. As I said you need the service engineer with the laptop. These Office Machines are NOT consumer serviceable. They hook up the laptop with the Ricoh software and it interrogates the computer, the mainboard and everything on it. This is a commercial office machine, and from my experience of them is that on the right side you will see on the inside, a list of instructions for where to check for obstructions. It seems you have already done this 8 times! Frustrating! Try this; Open the right side cover, unlatch all the bits at that side. Open the straight pass door on the left side. remove ALL the paper drawers. Get a powerful flashlight, look in all the spaces you have just created, especially at the edges of drawers and paper pathways. You are looking for a tiny piece of paper that one of your employees carelessly left behind after a paper jam.The one I found was right at the back of the straight pass door. When a sensor is covered, it creates that message. If that fails, Ricoh will have to come and attach their Laptop scan software to it which will tell which sensor is obstructed or has failed.
