Awm 8023, the "tumbler" doesn't produce any heat but is spinning ok. Is there any fuse etc that could be bad?
The possible fault could be due to the failure of the heating coil, failure of the control panel or the output drive to the heating coil or it can be one of a loose connection joint of the wiring to the heating coil. You need to recheck the selected program and then check the wiring to the coil. It is important to understand the working of a continuity tester to check the line and the coil which should address the fault. If there is no output from the board then it might be fault of the drive output or the loss of output from the processor which might need tracing of the voltage to the heating coil output. .

Error code FH on my AWM, what does it mean?
Hi,
"FH" is a No Water Detect error. It is an indication that you either have no water coming into the washer, or very little water at all. Check whether the water taps are turned on sufficiently, the inlet hoses are not kinked, the water inlet valve is not clogged, you don't have a siphoning issue, and/or the drain pump is working.
Thank you !!

Error code 21?
F21 is a Long Drain error.
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed.
In addition, a ?SUDS? error may also be displayed.
This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line.
You will need to check the following:
- First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
- Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
- Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
- Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions:

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.
Hope helps.

Fault code 08 occurs about 2 minutes in to the
08 ERROR means it's out of balance. This is usually caused by the bearings going letting it move around to much causing the 08 error to show. It's a big job & you would be looking at about 400 dollars to repair.(this is a very common problem with all front loaders)

The digital display read F 7 - will not wash
Hi,
"F07" indicates a Motor Control Unit Error. This error code appears when the Central Control Unit has detected a short in the motor control unit. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes. You have to check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU).
Thank you !!

F11 error
The F11 fault is the motor. I have had this issue myself and found that replacing the contact brushes solved this. The brushes on most electric motors are made from carbon, and wear down with use. They are spring loaded but have a limited life span. These are also cheap to purchase.

Clean the pump
If there is a kick plate on the bottom front you take screws off and you can get right to the pump, un hook hose and clen out. Now if there isn't a kick plate then you have to go through the back and then do the same.. Remember to unplug unit before entry.

Washer flashes error message
I had the same problem with my AWM8163.The display flashed F07. I did check all the connections, but that was not the problem.
I found out that it was the brushes on the elektro-motor.To find out you can take of the back-panel where you find the motor. Losen 2 screws /bolts M13, take away the drive-belt,take away the bolts and the wiring. Then you can take out the motor and check the brushes. The are mounted back of the motor(black brackets)with two screws. If they don`t make kontakt with the motor it is woren out.Replace them with new ones from a dealer-shop. Remember to unplug the electricity of the machine before working on it !Good luck :-)
