i have a polaroid flm 323b. the tv is not powering on. already cheked the socket and the fuse. I think the problem is either the inverter or the ir board. can anyone confirm me on these topic.
FLM-323B same problem, black screen. Checked out the power board and there is no 24v on it. Took the board out, let it cool off, put it back in. Got my TV back for a while, checked for 24v and it is there. Worked for a few weeks, now it's out again. Known issue with Polaroid, and if it's out of warranty, might as well throw it away because they WILL NOT help you. Personally this was my first and LAST POLAROID TV ever, TOTAL JUNK.

My polaroid FLM=323B will not turn on it has no power at all I checked the power socket and the cord to make sure everything was working and everything was. The TV just wont power up at all. I was watching it and it just shut off. I didn't touch anything on the television at the time at the time it shut off.

Can't find any bad Caps? Well I spent some time, well alot of time trying to figure out what's wrong and finally did.
The problem is a diode on the power board location Z9 Part # ( P6KE350A )On some boards it's the diode and the capacitor right next to it part # ( R 331K 1KV )

Hi, my LCD TV has developed a fine vertical black line on the right side of the screen. This can only be seen when I change the viewing to Zoom, Full or Wide-Screen. The vertical black line coincides with where the black bar would begin (they're on each side during regular viewing). Is there any way to make it go away? It's really bothering me!

My tv won't turn on
http://ripoffreport.com/user.asp. had same problem. tv won't turn on. check out this site. it's most of the polaroid tv's. not just the 3200
The newer technology has design issues due to the confined space where all the components are and not well ventilated. A good number of LCDs failed due to overheated components, specially in the power supply circuitry; once this parts become dry or leaking the LCD will fail to power up.
It seems like the power supply is defective on your LCD. Replacing or repairing it should fix your power up problems.

i have a polaroid flatscreen.it started to make high pitch noise, now picture looks purple or sephia, blue screen now purple.has anyone had this problem?
I started to experience this problem as well. Eventually one day I turned my screen on and all the colors were crazy. Purple, Blue Yellow Green. I thought my TV was broken but then I noticed as well that the menu was not displaying the same issue. After messing with the menu for about 30 minutes I found the solution.
Go to SETTINGS. Then go down to DEFAULT. Select default and everything will be fixed.... for now. I think unplugging the TV over and over screwed up the settings. Hope this helps.

When I turn my TV on, the blue power light comes on but no picture or sound. When I then try to shut it off, the remote won't shut it off nor the power button on the side. I have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. After I do this several times the TV starts working.
blown caps in the power supply a 470m at 16 volt cap it will be puffed up

Does anyone know the codes for the Polaroid FLM-323B in a Samsung Remote? There is a list of over 100 TVs in my Samsung manual, but no Polaroid! If that is impossible, does anyone know who manufactured this TV?

I have a Polaroid FLM 3232. I turn it on, led light goes from red to blue, meaning its on; however, there is no picture and no sound. The TV cannot be turned back off either unless it is unplugged, the light just remains blue when the power button is pressed. What could be the problem and how could it be fixed?
It can be the main board or the power supply,
look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

MY 32" POLAROID LCD TV HAS A SHADOW ON ONE SIDE OF SCREEN. IT STARTED OFF JUST A SMALL SHADOW AND NOW IT IS ABOUT 7" H X 5"W. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO. THE TV IS ONLY (2) YEARS OLD.
