Aron, To perform a reset you will need to disconnect the TV completely from power for at least 30 seconds, if this doesn't resolve your problem then you may have hardware that has expired in your device. Without physically looking at your device I can't say with certainty what your problem is, it could be your PCB. There are video's online you can visit on how to test a PCB for faults. Although I am just guessing, most Sony equipment uses metric screws. Main system control memory IC fault. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. Kinda points to power supply . Does it start normal for a short time or refuse to start ? Bad capacitors are a common problem in the past , doubt that is cause here but on bench I always run the ESR meter around the power board at least . You could have a bad CCFL but this young not likely . Did you have a power surge or lightning strike nearby ? A UPS is always a great investment not just a surge bar .
