Plg in the charger and if it does not charge try another charger, if it appears to charge but battery still low change battery.

Ovwrheating is sort of common after extended use on almost all smaet phones. Now if it gets hot enough to the point it will litwrally make somthing sizzle when u place your phone on it thats a problem. The battery must have short circuited or somthing. If you use for hours on end with no break its notjing to worry about just let it rest with battery out of it for 30 mins will be fine again. If its lime that no matter what claim the warranty on it before your house burns down....
