Printer prints too small
open the print preview by clicking on to the drop down arrow on the right hand side of the printer icon which you can find on any web page or email or a document that you are trying to print from on right hans side top. on the top of print preview window you would get different options .there is an optio which is for the font size/ by default it would be fit to page / change it to 75% or more according to your needs and click on the print option ans see what happens /
please let me know whether it worked or not /
i have other resolutions as well

Kodak 5300 first said error 3802 now says print head missing or loose
I got the same Problem as listed above. This is the way how I was able to solve it:
- Remove the color and black ink cartridges and the printhead. (the
5300 Printhead can be removed by pressing a button on top of the
carriage and a slight pull --> for better instructions use this official Kodak PDF)
- Try to clean the printhead and the carriage with a slighty wet
cloth from ink. CAUTION!: better not touch the green electronic chip!
Be carefull while cleaning.
- Reinstall the printhead and the ink cartridges.
- If the printer detects a 'new' printhead just do a calibration and your are done. If not try to print a test page.
Hope this solves the Problem. Best wishes
Kodak printhead will not move
I have a Kodak all in one printer and there seems to be a printhead issue with them. After researching it, I ordered a new one from the Kodak website and installed it (super easy with included instructions). It moves and prints like new and it was cheaper than a new printer.
I haven't used my Kodak 5500 printer in a little
Since that you already did a good troubleshooting cleaning the printhead and calibrating It and replacing the printhead., I just want to ask this How many times you already replace a printhead if its newly installed it means the problem is in the printer itself and for that you need to call kodak for printer repair toll free 1 800 421 6699
Now if the replacement printhead is more than a month and you already did all the troubleshooting it means the nozzle of the printhead is clogged you need to call kodak for printhead replacement

NO user manual for new 5300 printer!!!!
If you want to switch to photo mode you have to have photo paper in the printer. As for the user manual you did get one, just not in paper form. Kodak has the user manual on the software CD or you can go to kodak.com. The reason it's not in paper form is because the user manual is more than 100 pages.
Kodak 5300 color ink error
The above solution might void the warenty, It might work but here is a solution that I recomend.
The version of firmware you originally had on the printer when you changed the ink cartridge was bad. There is a known issue that when you put in a new ink cartridge when the printer is in the error state "COLOR INK
CARTRIDGE EMPTY. REPLACE COLOR INK CARTRIDGE" the unit writes that value to the new ink cartridge so you will continue to have that error. So to fix your problem First Remove the ink cartridges and download and install the new Firmware. Then sadly you have to go get another new ink tank and install it.
If you can get through to kodak you should request reimburstment of some sort like a free set of ink tanks
Only blank pages are coming out of kodak 5500 printer
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.
Printer not printing
Try this. Push the copy and cancel buttons together for about 3 seconds. Then release. The printer should push a blank piece of paper through. Try to print.
