How can I get information

Well check out other free sites on the web, there are quite a few, however generally though, FixYa is a good bet, not all questions can or are answered, but FixYa works very hard to help whomever they can.
Or you can search the internet yourself, with Google, and see if you can find what you want.

I cant get my inks

When you lift the top of the printer up to access the Ink Cartridges (the silver control panel area), there should be a picture diagram on the left side illustrating how to remove them. You have to press the black clip under the yellow or grey part of the ink cartridge to release it (there should be a click sound when you do this) and then it will lift up.

When printing no ink on

My printer did this when I first bought it and Kodak sent a new printhead, which solved the problem. If the printer is out of the warranty period, the charge is $24.99 for a new printhead.

The printer does not print

I am having the same issue with my printer... I've been on the phone with Kodak Tech Support and after much troubleshooting, we've narrowed the problem to the printhead. This happened when I first bought the printer and it was solved after replacing the printhead, so I'm 100% sure that the printhead is the problem.

Have broken the automatic document

Find & salvage the tray from a used 5500. I occasionally find items thru ebay, craigs list (by placing a wanted notice), computer repair or recycling centers & even goodwill stores. Alternatively see if the tray can be fixed or modified.

How do i get my printer to print the small 4x6

I can definitely help you here, but it will help if you still have your original manual to follow along with me. It is page 39 of the manual if you have it. If you need it, please reply with your email and I can send it to you.

You need to load the photo paper tray which is part of the top tray where paper usually comes out. Lift the photo tray lid. Slide the photo tray towards you until it stops. Insert the 4 x 6 papers glossy side down, and slide the photo tray with the stack of photo paper in until it stops. Engaging the photo tray turns the photo tray light on. Close the photo tray lid.

If you want to print from a memory card:

Insert a memory card into the appropriate slot, a mass storage device into the USB port, or connect a digital camera to the USB port. The last photo is displayed.
WARNING
Never attempt to remove a memory card while it is being accessed. Doing so can damage files on the card. You can safely remove a card only when the status light next to the slots is not blinking.
2 Make sure the paper is in the photo tray
3 Press ?UP ARROW to select the number of prints for this photo.
4 Press ` RIGHT ARROW to preview the next photo.
TIP: To select all the photos on a memory card or mass storage device, hold down the OK button for 2 seconds. Holding down the OK button again for 2 seconds will de-select all the photos.
5 Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until you are finished selecting photos.
6 Press Start to print the selected photos or Photo to set print options.
7 Set print options.
See Set Print Layout
See Set Number of Prints
See Set Color
See Set Print Quality
After a photo is printed, it is de-selected.

But basically, ANYTHING you print once you engage that photo paper tray and the light is on will print to the photo paper.

Again, let me know if you need the manual, it has pictures and everything.

The printer stopped printing black

The following blog talks about this problem, and tells how to get a new printhead:
http://www.justanswer.com/questions/2bkmf-kodak-easyshare-5500-aio-printer-is-running-through-new-ink
I couldn't verify this, but I've read about some printheads that have a heater for the ink, and when they get low, the heater filiment burns out, demanding replacement of the head. The answer for these type heads is to replace the cartridge as soon as it gets low.
Good luck, hope this helps, and thanks for using FixYa.
