press the counter key. tap the system settings on the screen select tray settings and select the type of paper you prefer and tap on the ok . After this open the tray and set the tray settings to the paper size. All the best of luck .

Please open the front door carefully and open the right door also and then remove the photoconductor unit unit and reset properly. If the problems persist , call an expert to check the sensor for you. Best of luck.

Most machines just use regular or notebook hard drives available anywhere.

Just replace & format it inside of the copier menus.

You can format the new hard drive after installing it.

It's in the printer menus somewhere.

These SC errors are related to the Hard disk.
Re - enter SP mode: Clear, 107 and press and hold Stop button for 3 secs.
Enter SP 5832-008 and press #,(Mail Tx data) to initialize the HDD. Then switch off and on the machine.
If still with error, replace the HDD.
Attention not to change any others SP modes - very sensitive settings!

You can't. As I said you need the service engineer with the laptop. These Office Machines are NOT consumer serviceable. They hook up the laptop with the Ricoh software and it interrogates the computer, the mainboard and everything on it. Hello Christopher Are you in the Philippines? I notice that your copier has changed from Ricoh to Gestetner? We are a North American website. This is a commercial office machine, and from my experience of them is that on the right side you will see on the inside, a list of instructions for where to check for obstructions. It seems you have already done this 8 times! Frustrating! Try this; Open the right side cover, unlatch all the bits at that side. Open the straight pass door on the left side. remove ALL the paper drawers. Get a powerful flashlight, look in all the spaces you have just created, especially at the edges of drawers and paper pathways. You are looking for a tiny piece of paper that one of your employees carelessly left behind after a paper jam.The one I found was right at the back of the straight pass door. When a sensor is covered, it creates that message. If that fails, Ricoh will have to come and attach their Laptop scan software to it which will tell which sensor is obstructed or has failed.
