Have you tried starting here? Enter the model number of the Lexmark printer "Z640" less the quotes. Click on ASK and on the new page click on the Downloads tab.

To print test page go to start/printers and faxes then right click on your printer and select properties. Then click on the "print test page" button.

To clean nuzzles right click on the printer icon and select properties and then select services. Here you will find the clean etc buttons.

Not if you have Vista 64 Bit, download the Vista 64-Bit driver. To check which version of Vista you have right click on 'Computer' icon on the desktop and select properties. See the 'System Type' to find out.

please you aply a comand by control p . when so the dailokebox in go the menu in paper to select and so the apaer size in letter other legel and a4 size but who to use the paper size is select and aply ok
and use printer.

Try This :

Goto to printer and faxes from control panel Right click on t he printer icon make it online
If still it doesn't works
Click on Start >> Run >> type in CMD >> OK >> type in NET STOP SPOOLER (Refresh the page in printers and faxes) >>> again type under CMD..... NET START SPOOLER (Refresh the page in printers and faxes) .
Check what happens
Then uninstall and reinstall the entire printer driver from control panel add or remove programs

Hi,

The unit may have a paper jam or stuck object inside, if you have experience a paper jam error before, check the printer for any object or paper stuck inside, clean roller.

Some error like this can be a problem on the feeder sensor and by this time you may need to replace and repair the unit.

Hope this initial info helps

Open the front cover.The carriage will come out.Open the covers and pull out the old cartridges.Then remove the tapes from new and pull in.Close all covers and follow the instructions on the screen of your monitor.

Sounds like a driver issue.

I would attempt to uninstall/reinstall the printer supplied drivers from the CD

always check "print preview" before printing the page.. it will always show you what will be printed on the page.. if print preview comes out blank, then there is a problem..

Try first to see if you can by hardwire via the USB and see if that work first then check your setup for your wireless system, if it did not work you must uninstall the software and then reinstall it..let me know how that work for you and please do not forget to rate my service so we can improve on it with your help. Click on the Downloads tab. Select the driver for your operating system.

Easiest thing is to download and Save the file to your desktop and run it from there after the download.

-use the printer driver head cleaning utility
-do a windows test print from the driver
-change paper type
-check ink quality (age)

Hi,

first the approximate ink shown by the software in computer is not always correct.cartidge may have very low ink level.

second reason may be nozzle of cartridge may be blocked due to dust.
so first try to clean the cartridge nozzle with moist cotton or with tissue paper.

if the problem continue replace the cartridge with new one.
