if problems with lights flickering. remove governor inside for the lights, and wire lights direct. this should cure problem. ( black box or governor ). part # 98480-02-- have a good day !!

Has anyone found a solution for this problem? I have tried a bulb in each light socket and attempted to use the pull/dimmer switch that is on the fan itself. The lights no longer dim nor turn off. I have unscrewed all of the bulbs and tried each bulb in each socket one at a time and still nothing. I have also taken the pull switch out of a different hunter fan to put into this one, hoping that atleast the lights would turn on and off. Still the lights won't turn off using the pull switch. I am out of ideas.

Make sure that the circuit breaker didn't trip, if it's a new device, it could be that just too many things are on the same circuit.

Not really a solution but .. try this.. Don't use the fan lights as primary lighting. Install low wattage bulbs in the fan to reduce the shadow depth, and use alternate primary lighting, for example a Torchier style floor lamp.

You realize of course that it did not show in the store because it was surrounded by alternate light sources, eliminating the shadows.

This must be a common problem, since I Googled the part number and it popped up before I completed the number. I am going to have to order a new remote, since I don't have a solder pen. Wish me luck.

Recheck all the connections and verify they are properly connected. There may be a safety switch on the body and that is not properly connected.

just a shot in the dark here but those fans get real dirty real quick so have you tried cleaning the sensor cover on the fan?
