Jenn-Air JDS9860A Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range Questions & Answers
I need direction on how to start the clean cycle on my jenn air
CLEAN PAD
Use to set a self-clean cycle or a delayed
self-clean cycle. One press of the Clean
pad sets up an immediate clean cycle. A
second press of the Clean pad sets up a
delayed clean cycle.
• Clean oven
frame, door
frame (area
outside of gasket)
and
around the
opening in the door gasket with a nonabrasive
cleaner such as Bon Ami*. These
areas are not exposed to cleaning temperatures.
• Remove air grille.
• Remove oven racks. If racks are left in
during a clean cycle, it may impair function
and they will discolor. Turn off the
oven light and close door.
* Brand names for cleaning products are
registered trademarks of the respective
manufacturers.
TO SET FOR IMMEDIATE START:
1. Press Clean pad once.
2. Press the Auto Set pad for 3 hours of
cleaning time, press again for 4 hours
and again if 2 hours of clean time are
desired.
3. CLEANING and LOC plus the clean
time will appear in the display.
4. When the clean cycle is complete,
CLEANED will be displayed. LOC will
remain on until the oven has cooled
(approx. 1 hour).
5. When the oven is cool, LOC will no
longer be displayed and the door may be
opened.
6. Wipe out the oven interior with a damp
cloth. If soil remains it indicates the
cycle was not long enough.
TO CANCEL SELF-CLEAN:
1. Press Cancel pad.
2. If LOC is NOT displayed, open oven
door. If LOC is displayed, allow oven to
cool.

Jenn-air dual fuel jds9860aap
Sounds as if you have a bad ground or nuetral wire connection. Unplug and check the connections to your control assembly and the pigtail on the range. I have also seen displays on Jenn-air go bad as well.Replace the clock assembly.

My oven door will not open
hello,
please follow this instruction to solve the door problem
Generally you will see a plastic lever that is touching both the door open button and the area of the door switches.
That lever is what breaks most often, and if you will push up on the door hooks (latch heads) , the door will open.
Pushing on the door open button repeatedly while looking inside will help you figure it out, too.
Good luck with this and thanks for using fixya.

What is philippines zip code
Go to this site... find the Province you wish to "Mail to" and click it. The postal code and the phone area codes are listed there.
http://zip-codes.philsite.net
The official Philippine Postal Service "PHILPOST" site is here:
http://philpost.gov.ph/web/category/news
The postal code drop down menu is on the right side of the page just below the header and it actually is displayed as "ode search" due to an oversize advertisement.

The glass surround on the oven door has partly
Here's a suggestion from Rex_Mundi; 10-11-2006 at 7:24 PM..
"Best bet is to get in touch with the manufacturer. This will be some specialist Intumescent (fireproof) type glue or tape. Intumescent tape is available (I've used many different kinds over the years for glazing in firedoors/windows), but I wouldn't risk recommending anything without any word from the manufacturer. You have an added issue here (food in the oven) you don't want to risk anything that may give off fumes when very hot."
I, Charlie, would agree with the above. Crazy Glue, for example, will produce very nasty fumes when heated.
Another person's experience ( icecoolbabe ) :
"This happened to my oven ... and I could not find a heatproof glue anywhere. I ended up going back to the manufacturer.
They sent an engineer to replace the whole oven door! He said you cannot normally reseal them properly so it's easier to replace the door."

Jenn-air JGS9900 downdraft slide in gas range - no power and electrical outlet IS working
There are several possible reasons why your Jenn-air JGS9900 gas range may not have power:
- Tripped Circuit Breaker: Check the circuit breaker for the range in your home's electrical panel to see if it has tripped. If it has, reset it.
- Loose Electrical Connection: Check the power cord connection to the range to make sure it is secure. Also, check the wiring connections behind the range to ensure they are properly connected.
- Blown Fuse: If your range has a fuse, check to see if it has blown. You may need to replace it.
- Faulty Control Board: The control board is responsible for supplying power to the range's electronic components. If the control board is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
- Faulty Igniter: If the burners are not igniting, the igniter may be faulty and need to be replaced.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
Jenn-Air jgs8860bdp broiler doesn't ignite.
There are a few potential issues that could cause the problems you're experiencing with your Jenn-Air broiler. Here are a few things you can try:
- Make sure the gas supply to the broiler is turned on and that there are no blockages in the gas line.
- Check the gas valve to make sure it is open and functioning properly.
- Make sure the gas burners are clean and free of any debris or obstruction.
- Check the broiler burner for proper ignition. It should ignite within a few seconds of turning on the broiler. If it does not, the burner orifice may be clogged and will need to be cleaned.
- Check the gas pressure to the broiler. If the gas pressure is too low, it can cause the flames to be low or go out.
- Make sure the broiler igniter is properly seated and connected.
