Remove probe from oven

most electric ovens have a temperature sensing probe inside of them. this is to prevent the oven from overheating and causing a fire. the reason why it's asking you to do that is because it's either dislogged from its place or it need to be replaced.

White glass cooktop hard to clean

First thing I thought of was that your pots have oil or build-up of some kind on the bottom. Try cleaning them with a solvent of some kind. As an experiment, try using a pyrex pot to see if that makes a difference. As for cleaning the cook top, I use a vinegar and water solution with a soft cloth or very low abrasive scrubber as you can scratch the glass quite easily on some kinds.

THE COOKTOP WONT HEAT UP. BUT THE LIGHT ON THE CONTROL KNOB LIGHTS.

My first guess would be to check for proper connection at the wires from the stove body to that specific heating element. Perhaps, lift-off or open the cook-top cover, and check the hook-up to the heating element itself. How old is your stove, and is it fitted with the common "coil type" elements? Unless it's a very late, high-tech model, capable of checking its own wiring, the indicator light will illuminate regardless of an open circuit to the heating element because older models can't "see" or "know" whether something has come loose, so the indicator light will come on, and just sit there, cold and clueless. Bon Apetit!!

HOW DO YOU FIX A SQUEAKY OVEN DOOR?

I recommend using automotive "anti-seize" compound, a high-heat, metallic paste, typically applied with a small brush during the assembly or installation of car parts subject to extreme heat, so they don't seize or fuse together over time. If there is access to the "squeaky part" of the stove's hinge, slathering it with some anti-seize should keep it quiet for a long while.

Need to replace touch pad, need directions

After spending 230 bucks for a new control panel, which fixed the flashing fault code 7 issue, I decided to take the old one apart to see what had happened. I had found instructions from someone who had done this, but could not understand them; here is the short, sweet version. Understand you can easily destroy the fragile plastic panel, and that these instructions assume you have shut off your range breaker at the house panel, and removed the entire Control Panel (includes the rangetop controls). If you are having difficulty doing either of these tasks, call the repairman now! You can destroy the unit or hurt yourself... Use an X-acto knife at the edges of the plastic touch panel to separate the touch panel from the backing all the way araound. This requires a steady hand and a good deal of patience. Once there are a few millimeters cut from under the edges, the edges can be gently pried up to remove the entire panel, which is just glued on. Now find the damage on the circuit board, which is likely a damaged trace or two near an edge of the panel. Make a bridge with wire and solder to repair the break. Use the old glue marks to place modest amounts of quick-drying epoxy on the back of the panel, and press it back in its original position. Once again, let me stress that this a repair for someone with at least modest skills with a soldering iron and X-Acto knife. A wire-bridge repair of the traces is a must; a simple solder bridge will break almost immediately, due to the same stresses that broke the original board.
