Bunn Pour-Omatic Coffeemaker, 10 Cup White - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My Bunn Omatic is leaking
The washer (gasket) is a tray seal. It's made of silicone. The gasket should be assembled by placing the screw nut into the tray (pan) then slip the white rubber gasket over the nut (under the tray) and gently screwed onto the top of the tank. It should be snug down a bit more than hand tight. Sometimes the nut (a large hollowed out bolt that allows water to flow through) can get a bit corroded. Teflon pipe tape helps but if it still leaks then all those parts will need replacement as it's made with a soft metal that easily pits.
** Okay I've given you the inside scoop but really you should not be poking around in there. Call the your vendor for service.
* parts can be found at Bunn.com or any Resturant equipment supply as this is a very common part. You may be able to find a rubber washer that fits though I suspect the black rubber may leave an after taste. Stick with the red type or find a silicone pad and cut a washer to fit.
* Final - If you have this in an office. Check with your coffee vendor as they may fix it for you or give you a replacement. Doesn't hurt to ask around.

No power light
If everything works an the light is out the light needs replaced
Turned my coffe maker off for week-end & now will not heat up water
Make sure it's getting power, and that the "vacation" switch isn't on.
If on a GFCI outlet, press the RESET button - Do Not press the "test" button. If GFCI is located upstream on another outlet, or the breaker (not uncommon), try resetting the breaker or that other outlet.
If still no joy, check that the outlet is hot by plugging something else into it. If that item doesn't work either check the circuit breaker for that outlet by moving the lever all the way to the Off position, then back to the On position. You should hear a click like a light switch.
Where is the fuse located
All coffee makers have a thermal fuse set to a certain maximum temperature. Once that temperature has been reached the fuse opens and cannot be reset. The fuse is located inside the body of the machine and is in the wiring and usuall has a protective sleeve to cover the electrical leads. The fuse looks like a resistor or diode with electrical leads crimped in the wiring. You may check the fuse with a multimeter with power off, meter set on ohms, check for continuity across the fuse. You must purchase a new fuse of the correct temperature rating (this is stamped on the device) and the leads crimped or soldered in place of the old fuse. I find thermal fuses online at prices less than $2.00.
I can do the vinegar thing but the cleaner thing is a piece of plastic. I just dont know how a piece of flat plastic is going to help.
Do you have the de-limer spring that came with the coffeemaker?
Sometimes you have to take the top off of the coffeemaker & run the spring down the entrance hole to clear lime obstruction from the tank fill tube.
There are 2 or 3 phillips-head screws that hold the top on. 2 are under the water reservoir fill cover, and a 3rd may be in on the middle -top towards the back. Depends on your exact model.
Once the top is off, you'll see a lever arm.that keeps the water from flowing down the fill tube while the reservoir cover is raised. To get access to the fill tube, you gently pop this out from the pivot point with some upward pressure, Run the de-liming spring down the tube a few times to make sure it's clear.
Reverse the above process to reassemble.
Be sure and remove & clean the spray head over the brew-basket after de-liming also. Sometimes chunks of minerals block the holes.

You should be able to get cleaning material in the shop where you bought the machine or in the supermarket,
I am sorry I am not familiar with what exactly you can buy inyour neighboorhood.

www.bunn.com By the way, I wouldn't personally put vinigar in any Bunn machine, as it takes forever to run enough water through them to get rid of the vinigar taste.
We have an older style
you should be able to go online and locate a bunn service centre in your area, contact them and purchase a 5 hole sprayhead. It will be metal instead of plastic but will work fine.
Overheating water boiling dry
if it is not adjustable you will need a new thermostat. Any bunn service centre should be able to help you out or if the coffeemaker is older it might be worth your while to buy a new one.
Warmer on my bunn gr10-w works but the brewer
Either the solenoid (water inlet valve) is bad or the switch.
when you hit brew button chek for voltage across the solenoid .If voltage is present then replace the solenoid
if no voltage there then replace the switch

When we go to brew
Most likely you have a clog in the filter container. Use a toothpick to clean the small spout at the bottom. Then hot soapy water. Hopes this helps.
My tim hortons coffee maker is not brewing as
Make a 1/2 pot 50/50 mixture of cold water and white vinegar then run it through the machine in normal brewing fashion. Place a clean filter in the brewing cup to catch the white deposits that are removed. Allow the mixture to cool, then repeat the process several times while using the same filter. Finally, run several pots of fresh water through to work out the taste of the vinegar. Repeat whenever the brewing time seems to be excessive.
My coffee maker takes 20
The first suggestion is de-calcify as the heating element is probably coated. The following should explain what I mean.
Most likely you have calcium flake deposits clogging the
orifice/jet/valve, that restricts the flow of water until heated
properly. As the water starts to flow the flakes collect and block the
water flow. Periodic cleaning will cure this and prevent damage to the,
orifices, jets,valves and heating elements of your machine ( as calcium
builds up it tends to insulate the heating element thus requiring more
energy/heat to complete the task). Eventually the heating element will
over heat and burn out. Periodic cleaning extends the life of the
machine plus the added bonus of a better tasting " Cup of JOE".
Most any cleaning preparation designated for a "Mr. Coffee " type
machine will do the job. If you want a home remedy 3-4 tablespoons of
white distilled vinegar per cup of water ( calculate for the size of
your water reservoir ). But please do it outside on the patio, as the
vinegar tends to be in competition with the air freshener, and will win.
