Hi,These codes are not available for free anywhere online. I suggest this site which is one of the few I know that provides guaranteed accurate codes for Becker units and they are by far the cheapest out there.Hope it helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

The radio is asking for code because power was cut off the radio when the battery was remove.

You need to find your radio code. Have a look in your hand-pack their will be a credit card sized bit of card with the codes you need or it may be written in one of the books that came with the car/radio.

Direction on how to enter the code in the radio is indicated on the hand-pack or book.
Let me know if you don't have the hand pack or the code on the radio.

1. Press "Radio" to enter radio mode.
2. Now you will enter radio menu mode and you have 8 seconds to select AM or FM.
3. After selecting AM or FM you can continue to push "AM" or "FM" (which ever band you choose to listen to) to scroll through seek quality, seek name, stations RDS, Stations fix.

Go to your local BMW dealership with your vehicle ID # and the Radio serial #. The can look it up or call BMW direct to get it. Other Auto manufacturer's charge 20-25 to do this, I'm not sure what BMW will charge. Hope this helps
