Is the water going into dishwasher at 120 degrees or close to it. Are you using rinse aid. If you use options like dry heat it will take 2 hours. 2 hours is normal.

Blinking auto lock Whirlpool

What does it say in fine print right under control lock? "Press & Hold"? Page 16 of the user manual shows it as "air dry" with two lights, twelve and three o'clock positions. It says hold it for four seconds and the light turns off.

Water not spraying hard enough

Could be a a couple different issues.. Not filling with enough water or food chopper broke or food chopper filter screen clogged.

Check water level:
Run the DW and wait for the main wash to start (water will fill. pause then complete fill) The water should be no more than 1/4 inch below the heating element. If not there..replace water inlet valve.

Inspect food chopper:
Remove lower spray arm and rear water supply tube to upper spray arm. Remove torx screws that secure the sump cover. Remove the rounded cover on the left side to expose the chopper assembly. Inspect for breakage of blockage. There may be an additional plastic screen to remove first.

Dishes don't get clean and

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

My water isnt draining after

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

As the water did not drain completely then check the drain hose & drain pump filter for any clogs/obstructions, if you have already cleaned these parts and the unit will not work then replacing the drain pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Dishes on upper level of dish washer not getting

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

The problem is either with the water inlet valve which is bad and so won't supply enough water inside to clean the dishes, or the soap dispenser won't open at the right time or with the clogged/blocked spray arms. You can check these three things and clean them, then post back, also the pressure switch should be checked/tested. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product to solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water going into your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that leave those spots. It is very affordable and even has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look with this product.
