aol videos has a repair solution for the microphone,,,,thier is a small connector on the faceplate itself that you need to take off and put on the new faceplate.it is where the mic is located,it looks like a small black rubber with two brass pins in it..good luck!

well a tip from my side: 1 -the memory card works fine in the phone so u can connect ur phone to pc and transfer all files from memory card to a pc. 2-then remove memory card from phone and connect it directly to a pc and format it.this will remove everything from the card. 3 -if not working, put the card in any digital camera and format through the camera, this usually works :).

Restore your phone to factory settings. Hard reset is needed.

-download nokia pc suite
-prepare the appropriate usb cable for your phone
-download the nokia software updater
-update the software of your cellphone

If your battery is still under warranty then I suggest that you take it to your current carrier and address the issue, other than that you will need to invest in a new phone or new battery and hopefully that will take care of your issue!

Hi i have checked that imei number is not a lost or stolen phone so i can give you the master code for your phone but i need to tell you the following.

1, if you have entered the wrong code more than 5 times then this means the phone is hard locked and can only be unlocked using leads and software and the phone shop wil need to do this for you.

2, some new nokia have a firmware software that dont let the master code work so you may find your phone wont accept the code.

3 when you switch your phone on and it asks for the security code you need to enter the code below, once you have entered this code you will have full access to the phone and the security code will be reset to what the phone was when new should you ever need to put a new code back on.

Please check your adapter, you need a multimeter to measure the voltage of the adapter at the pin and when connected to the phone- check at the battery terminals.
If the voltage is lesser than the specified battery voltage then check with another adapter.
If not the battery can be faulty. Replace with original type.

The phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation.
