U have tools like a soldering iron,desoldering pump or desoldering braid,solders?U can u do basic soldering and understanding basic electronic?Yes.Check the tv power supply board for those dying capacitors that are bulges or puffing ups on it tops.Look for it printed lable for it Micro Ferit and voltages on those dying capacitors.Tries Radio Shack,Amazon.com or Ebay.com buy for those same exact capacitors to replaced it.Those printed voltages can up to 5 or 10 more volts,but not the Micro Ferit,must be exact to the old capacitor.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

first you need to remove old bulb there is model no menstion on the top side.please check and replace with same no.

you have some bad power supply.inside the tv's.you need to try several time to power up tv.that way in not coming up by remote.remote only power tv once.

1- check all the cables that are hooked up to the TV 2- try to get audio to and external speakers or home theater (to check the sound card). 3- if the step # 2 don't work either you have a bad sound board on your TV. 4- opn the TV try t get the part # of the board, and replace it

Most likely the power supply board.

Lie the tv down on a bed and unscrew the back. Its only about 9 screws around the edge and look at the power board, on the left, see if theres any burn marks.

I have a brand new board I bought the other day for the same issue but before I replaced it, stupidly, I checked with LG and turns out mine is still under warranty so I'm stuck with a new board.

The LCD screen is expensive,not uncluding labors yet.Tries check for the new one tv see if worth repairing.Any big screen tv shop in the Yellow pages tech.can replaced it.

The screws are usually centred in the lower middle part on the rear of the TV, there will be four deep set coutersunk holes where the screws can be found. The stand is fixed to a pedestal arrangement which fits to the underside of the TV.

re place the capacitor from the power supply of the t.v.

TRY AUTO PROGRRAMMING AL YOUR CHANNELS AGAIN. IF THIS DOES NOT FIX IT YOU NEED A MAIN TOTAL ASSY THE BLOTCHINESS IS A LCD PANEL PROBLEM. THE PANEL NEEDS REPLACING.

Undo the back and see if the fuses are blown. Replace them if they are.

Can you tell us what is your video source; antenna, or a cable signal? Also can you test your TV with some type of alternative signal like a DVD or VHS tape and see if you get a picture with this method. Possible that you have a loose connection in the video circuit.
