No, you don't need any specific setting if your phone already unlocked. Are you sure your phone already unlocked? If not you need to unlock it first using samsung t309 network unlock code and your phone will accept your airtel sim card after you put samsung unlock code in that phone.

A request for a PUK code ("Personal Unlocking Key") will appear on your phone if your SIM card PIN code is entered 3 consecutive times incorrectly.

Your SIM card will then become "PUKed" or Blocked. This is a security measure to protect your service.

You need to call the Customer Service department of your cell phone provider and they will give you the PUK code which will unblock your SIM card.

These steps should be more or less similar.

• Press the OK button for Menu
• Select Recent Calls, using the navigation keys
• Select All (4)
• Select the Recent Call type, using the navigation keys, from the following:
• Missed Calls
• Received Calls
• Dialed Calls
• All Calls
• Highlight desired Recent Call, using the navigation keys
• Press the right soft for Options
• Select either Erase (2) or Erase All (4), using the navigation keys
• Highlight Yes, using the navigation keys
• Press the OK button to confirm call log deletion

Hello b109874, There are a couple different ways to get your symbol. Here is the best (and easiest):

• Press the 1 key when you come to the part of the address that needs the @ symbol. It should display. (You may need to press 1 several times to get to the @ sign)

most default passwords are all "0" are its something like 1234, or 12345

it will automatically change to the band frequency that is being used by the sim card. There's no need to set it manually as long as your phone support that frequency. Be sure that in India there is a network provider the will work for your type of sim.

You have to take it to a repair / service shop where they will have to retrieve the code from the phone using a unlock software. Please don’t get caught for online pranks. Cheers.

HI,

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.
