actually tv is not full hd & not sported play station signals through HDMI

Just talked with Sony Support today.

It seems that Sony in Denmark had sent out new software updates (over DVB-T) but also some wrong TV's got updated as well. This caused my DVB-T tuner to not function anymore so I wanted to try a factory reset and it fixed my problem.

So I was instructed on how to do this. I have a Sony Bravia KDL-32P3000 (which should be similar to the U3000 and S3000 as well).

This is how to do a factory reset of your Sony Bravia KDL-32 P/U/S-3000 TV.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE SERVICE MENU, YOU CAN EASILY CAUSE YOUR TV TO MAL-FUNCTION!!!! IF YOU FOLLOW THIS GUIDE IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Set your TV in standy (use the green power butten on your remote), RED standby LED is ON on your TV.

Now press these buttons in this order on your remote (pointing to the TV).

VOL UP (+)
GREEN POWER button

NOW BE CAREFUL! Dont press any keys just for the fun of it!!! IT MAY DESTROY YOUR TV.
You should now be in the service menu. It will show up as some green letter/numbers spread over the screen (mine are a bit hard to see/a bit faded). In the upper right corner you should have 2 letters TT (two t's).

Now carefully press key 0 and then key 8 on your remote (they should be shown on the screen after the two TT).

Now wait a little while (more than 10 seconds) and your TV should reset with factory settings, just as if you had just brought it home from the TV store.

1. Turn on the TV.
2. Wait approximately 40 seconds for the TV to completely start up.
3. On the TV remote control, press and hold the UP ARROW button

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

check 5v regulator on cont board

Fuse is on power board near AC input connector. you needto open the back cover for this.

Tow times flashes [blinks] denotes a fault with its power supply regulator board. The output voltage come out from it might be less or more than normal. You can also do a search, by type in the brand name/model number/IC used, in the search box at the top right of the display window.

make a new HDMI errors which is in main board .

Just a copy from Sony: 5X Blink - TCON & HFR Failure The 5X blink protection mode indicates a communications error between the TCON/HFR board and the MT5388 microprocessor on the A-Board. First replace the TCON/HFR Board if the 5X protection mode blink pattern occurs. If the TCON/HFR Board does not repair the problem then replace the A-Board.

It sounds that the main digital board to your TV is faulty. Contact any experienced service technician.

the first place to be checked will be the power supply board look for bulging electrolytic capacitor. if no bad cap check shorted component at the inverter board of the screen back light.

you might want to unplug the set and a box or receiver if used for a while==plug back and see if the units reboot helps this problem or not===a box or external unit can cause this kind of problem.

Check and replace T'Con board.

Pick TV Remote Control and press Display button once, On-Screen display [AV2] will disappear.
Hope this will help.

If this happening when TV is viewed then it is possible that the auto shut off is active as no signal is detected by the processor and so is instructing to shut down.
However this fault is related to a problem in the signal detection circuit, if this happens with the auxially circuit- play station- then some logic gate is faulty which needs to process and detect the signal.
Remove power for few hours and see if the fault resets, if not the circuit needs a technical review.

The LCD Tv's processor has hung up due to some errors that have come into the memory. So to reset you can switch off and remove power to keep aside for an hour.
If the set does not power on after this reset then the software is corrupt and must be downloaded. seek help from Sony support.

The replacemant screen plus labor will cost you $300 (Screen can be $200 and up if you find one) and up. Screen is the most expensive part of the TV and very limited production, you may want to sell the boards on EBAY and use the money toward new TV.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

somebody told me about this is because a wrong dc 20 volts line in the lcd panel and the solution could be a new wire between these two points with a 10 omhios half watt resistor. The principal recomendation is that we have very skill to make the solder in flex printed circuit bonded very close to lcd panel
