Check to see how many recieving bars you have when you make a call. I always look at my phone it has so many bars showing if I have good reception. There is dead zones where I can't even get out. Sometime you can buy a boosters for phones to get better recepetion.

Have you accidentally turned all sounds off? I'm guessing Volume was turned off somehow. 1) Turn the phone off. 2) Restart phone. Don't touch volume controls yet. 3) go to 'Settings' and find 'Sounds'. Touch 'Sounds'. 4) go to 'Volume' and set every one to the maximum. 5) Call a friend and ask him/her to call/text/message and everything else. Does it work? If that doesn't fix it, go to the last App or Widget you downloaded to your phone before the problem began and uninstall it. You can always re-install it. Sometimes Apps or Widgets mess with Sound and other settings in our wonderful mobile/cell phones. If that doesn't fix it, you can always try any retail cell phone store and just ask. Most of them, when they aren't really busy, like to solve problems. They do it all day long. Good luck.

Create a back up of all the contacts in the old phone to your memory card...insert the memorry card on the New phone and select the option to export contacts from the back up file...the phone will search and update all the contacts from the back up file on the mem card....
