Hi, I've just got a new lg shine which as of now is working fine. I want to put some of my own songs onto the mp3 player in it. I can connect the phone via the USB cable but it just asks for software (even though I've installed it) and the phone doesn't come up as a mass storage device so I can't do it that way. When I open the software it's just about numbers, calendars etc and nothing to do with music so I've no idea how to get songs on. Any help please?
i suggest you dont put in the music through ur computer but through bluetooth . if you have a mac that would be a good way as the macbook hav bluetooth . i have a KE970 but it wont start it restart automatically over and over again . i think the problem is because of a virus i got while downloading imgaes from the net . so make sure you check if you got viru's on the song .

I can't get the music files from the folder my stuff on my LG shine in to mp3 bit. I can play them from my phone to my computer just not the other way round. Please help It's doing my head in. xx Thanks
my phone did came with neither a usb cord nor a cd. are they not suppose to provide these? somehow i feel like ive been ripped off.

My lg shine mobile wont connect with the usb driver when i try to install the software it says the software canno be installed because it has not passed windows logo testing. please help thank you.

Are there any sites out there where you can get an unlock code for cell phones for free? I just bought an LG Shine and the guy told me it was unlocked, but it's not. Please help!!
locking system is inbuilt in phone.
and no one other than service center change the lock code
if u want to unlock it then download its software from google and then by connecting through cable u can solve ur problem

Hi everyone
Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1)
If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should
find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please
read bellow.
2) You must get a phone that is on the same network
as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your
PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will
tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to
reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

I had a razor from verizon and I could easily set any ringtones i bought as text message alert tones and with this phone i seemed to have tried everything and nothing has worked :[ I hope there is a way to do it because if not that seems pretty stupid that a simple little razor can do it.
You CAN set a song as your text alert tone. Here are the steps:
1- Go to: Settings> Profiles>
2- Select your options (e.g. normal, vibrate and ring, etc....)
3- select Options> Customize (2)>
4- Highlight "Message Sound" and select Options> Customize (2),
5- Then browse to the folder your song or sound is in (e.g. audio) and select the file you want to use and save it.
I noticed that the songs have to be under 30 seconds to use as any type of alert tone for calls or texts.

my Lg shine is blocked because i wuz dumb enough to keep tying puk codes can any one possibly tell me how to unblocked? i would really appreciate it.
To get the PUK code for the LG Shine, you need to call 1-800-331-0500 which is customer support. Tell them you have a lg shine and need the puk code. They will ask your phone number with area code, the last 4 digits of the ss# on that account.
They will supplie the code to you and your phone will be free. If you enter in the wrong code too many times, You'll end up having to buy a New SIM Card!

I have two LG TV's (different models) close to each other but in different rooms. One of the remotes turns TV1 on when I am am controlling TV2. Is there some way I can change the remote code so this does not happen?
I had the same problem and we cut up a stick on lable and placed it over the end of the remote . It weakened the signal enough to where it would not change the other tv/tvs. We colored in the white lable with a black marker and you dont even notice it there.
It took alittle playing around with but it was much cheaper than buying a remote.

I bought a LG KS360 on ebay. I been having problem trying to get the infomation i need to get my phone to work with att service. now all i need is the proxy ip and then i can have my phone working right the said thing is that i can not find it. I need all the infomation that you can find to set up so i can send and recieve mms/messaging and get on the internet with this phone if you cant help me please give the info to help me locate it my self thanks for your help in this matter.
