No option to duplex print Dell 3115cn

The duplexer is seperate purchase to my knowledge. If you have purchased the duplexer, you must enable it in the options tab.

Reset Epson Color Printer Counter

Many Epson Printers that reach an End of Life counter number will lock your printer down and force you to contact a Service Center.

However, this is really not necessary in all cases. If your printer is still working fine for you but the counter has locked your printer:

Check belt in the ADF( Auto Document Feeder) if belt is fine you may need to replace the rollers

Error message 093-424

it;s usually an orange feed roller assembly in printer that gets warm and causes toner to cure on paper it is most likely close to being worn as the printer keeps history of how old the fuser is by counting prints or you will start getting paper jams as the feed roller wears down.

Weak vertical line in text

It may be cartridge problem.Take a look at the cartridge and see if you can see toner on the cartridge.To do this, remove the cartridge and pull down the face plate. Look at the cartridge inside and see if there is toner lines on the cartridge. If so, it is likely time to replace the cartridge. This should not happen but it does happen time to time. Dell 3115 scan without cartrige

Get a stand-alone scanner or the ink and fuser. The multi-function printer will report a fault to protect itself until the ink system is set up to be able to print. Since this is a Laser printer, if you do spend the money on the toner cartridges and fuser, it will be a one-time purchase if you do not use it for printing.I wish that I had better news for you. Run Maintenance mode from admin menu and run clean procedure, if it does not solve your PHU is likely to fail soon. same happened to mine.

The Print Diagnostic Utility diagnoses and resolves common printing problems and communication problems, including:

If you prefer, you can skip this information and go directly to downloading the tool .

  • Connectivity :
    • USB: Ensures that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product is working correctly.
    • Network: Ensures that the network connection between your computer and your network is working correctly. If the tool detects a network connectivity problem, you will be prompted to run the HP Network Diagnostic Utility for better results.

3115cn Dell laser Printer

I've had this happen a few times. Each time all it has taken is to clean the ADF scanner glass, located on the far left side, using a lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner. I know it might seem odd because it works fine with black and white copies, however this has always done the trick. I'm surprised this is not listed on Dell's support pages. Hope this helps.

Dell 3115cn replacement toner

YES.

There are good quality remanufactured cartridges for this prnter. I did the development work on these carridges (and the other printer name versions) for one UK remanufacturer, and do the Qualty control on them. Use a brand with a good reputation, and of course there should be a guarrantee.

There are also some poor ones around (as always some remanufacturers take shortcuts and don't do the job properly).

Unfortunately this is not the place to mention specific remanufacuterers that you can buy a good product from, and it does depend on you location.

There is a loud squeaking noise coming from

The Dell 3115cn is a good at most Laser printer. However, the unit was not ment to last and like all of Dell's products, will end up shortly in the bone yard. ( Please note, I am not a fan of Dell's equipment. )
I have worked on several of these units and would not recommend spending money on repairs.

The best thing you can do is to remove all cartridges and removable service panels and blow out unit under high pressure.
Although this is a mostly gear driven unit, their are a few items which can pick up sheds of paper and make the unit drag, squeak and hum.
You can pickup a can of CleanSafe, which is a moisture free high pressure cleaner. I believe you can purchase this at Radio Shack or Home Depute.
You may also want to check the kind of paper you are using and make sure it is rated for you LaserJet and not a multi use paper. This may keep the drag off the motor and gearing.
Hope this works for you, if the unit is fairly new, you may want to contact Dell and make compaint's. They may send you another.

Mpf error

MPF is refering to Manual Paper Feed or bypass tray. This tray should fold down to enable loading of paper. It is mostlikely above tray 1.

I have a error 133-290 and can not get it to clear

Make sure the line has a dial tone with a regular old 20th century analog phone plugged into the FAx line. Once that's verified, unplug FAX line from printer. Unplug Printer power. Wait 60 seconds. Insert FAX line again. Plug in printer. As it warms up, keep hitting CLEAR ALL and STOP buttons to skip the status page printing.

If that doesn't work, turn off printer and then hold CLEAR ALL and STOP buttons (at the same time) while turning on printer. Once the display gets into the calibration mode, keep tapping those two buttons. This should free you to get to the menu.

Do NOT pay the $360 XEROX wants to fix this common glitch on this poorly-designed printer. This is not a serious problem in 90% of the cases, but a glitch in the software that runs the printer.
