first turn off your pritner power.
check open the front door pull your ink cartridge then clean dust and blur from it then check there is not any paper jam then refix ink cartridge.then turn on the power.

You need a technician to update the printer's firmware.

first try cleaning the charge roller on the drum unit or check the hot roller on the fuser

Go to the Start menu and select "printers & Faxes". Ensure that the FS2000 is set as your default printer (right click on icon and select as default). If you still cannot print you will need to reinstall the printer drivers from disk or download from the Kyocera website.

In this case what i would request u to do is.......
Take out both the catridges from the Printer.........
Take 2 Paper Towels one should be wet with Luke warm water and the other one should be dry...........
Take the Colour catridge first turn it upside down and u will see a small copper plate on the catridge from where the ink comes out.......
Place the wet paper towel using ur thumb on the Copper plate and press it a lit bit for 10 Seconds......
Now remove it and see whether u see any ink on the paper towel..........
U should see some ink on it now place the dry paper towel on the ink catridge in the same way........
Now do the same procedure again..........
Do the same procedure twice on the Black Catridge.................
Now take the dry paper towel and turn the direction of the cartridge so that u can see a Copper plate on it with small boxes just clean that copper plate with the Dry Paper Towel..........
Know insert both the catridges inside the Printer...........

Open the left door
Push the drum unit in
Turn the machine back on

A Kyocera-Mita technician willl have to update the firmware.

A KYOCERA-MITA technician has to upgrade the firmware.

Did you remember to take the tape off of the cartridge when you installed it?

check the basic user guide Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting pages 4-5 to 4-10 about a specific error message.
Make sure you are using the latest print driver from kyocera website !
If is really need it you can expand the memory !!

that is a fuser code check the fuse

The drum could be problem - not inserted correctly or contact problem. If I'm not mistakened the numbers after the colon is the page count when the problem is detected.

remove the drum by opening the LHS of the printer & removing the toner waste bottle, then depress the grey button on the drum assembly & firmly pull the assembly out. Best done in a darkish room as the drum is light sensitive.
The black line couldn't be fixed as it is caused by a scratch less that 2mm long on the drum. Ether a new drun at £299 or a new printer ar £245..

This is a firmware problem. You will have to try and do a firmware upgrade first, if this do not work your mainboard is damaged. The firmware can be downloaded from kyocera's website where you will have to unzip and copy it to a flash drive/memory card. Switch machine off and insert card. Switch machine back on and wait for firmware to be downloaded. Switch machine off and remove card, switch back on.

THE TONER IS TK-310

Make sure the ready light is on. Press the green go button.

Also make sure you don't have printing paused.

IF THERE IS A TICK NEXT TO PAUSE PRINTING, THEN CLICK ON PAUSE PRINTING
IF NOT THEN DON'T.

ALSO MAKE SURE YOUR PRINTER IS SET TO DEFAULT PRINTING DEVICE.



If all else fails, install the kyocera fs-1700 driver for the printer. it's a generic driver for kyocera-mita.

hello, this is a problem with the fuser unit. it needs replacing. 0147270 is your total page count. A fuser costs about €250.
