If the machine comes to ready then it may be that you are sending data with either a corrupted print job or the wrong driver. If it errors even with the data cable disconnected then you will probably need to reset the eeprom. Make sure that the formatter is seated properly and all components on the formatter are seated properly.

POwer off the printer and then depress the Maintenance button now Power On the printer till it resets which is for few seconds

Please explain what problem you are facing and what information you want to reset
Basic reset can be done from the front panel with one small hole find just below the cancel switch, press it once to reset plotter

Unfortunately you screen (computer or other ) isn't calibrated. there is software mostly pro use this, but take a picture of a flat grey placard. using your photo program to check the gamma settings and modify them until the grey on screen matches placard ( hold placard next to monitor). Then print out grey image. important write down the gamma settings and when you put something to print check to see if these are close.

An 8 ounce ball peen hammer comes to mind.

Did you try to calibrate on the same media what you want to print?

Try to delete any other calibrations stored. And re-calibrate the plotter on the same media or a plain paper.

If you have removed all five required screws you should be able to slide the left cover off without interference.

When replacing expendable parts like the maintenance cartridge you have to go through the printer internal menu and reset the maintenance count. There is a combination to get to this menu on the printer. You might be about to access the menu through the web interface for the printer. According the service manual for this unit you will need to replace the harddrive.

This error indicates that the vacuum fan is stopped.

Hi, Try taking a damp lint free cloth and cleaning the rails that the carriage moved left/right on. You will probably find the carriage rails are dirty.When the rails are clean, oil them lightly with silicone oil. You should also squeeze a little oil on the foam pads that are on the left and right of the carriage assembly. This keeps the machine lubricated.If this does not solve your problem then probably the line sensor on the machine needs replacing.Best regardsBanner Stands
