Color not printing correctly
Go through the maintenance procedures for cleaning the heads. If not used for some time the ink may have dried up, or cheap ink may have clogged up the filters. Regards
Laser printer not printing clearly and smells of burning
It has been years since I had a laser printer but one thing I did find out is that there is a catch reservoir for the excess toner. I pulled that out and emptied it as well as cleaned up the machine while I was in there. That took care of my printing problems that were very similar to yours. The other thing is the rollers may need to be replaced.
