Have you gone on the menu settings in your U-verse cable box. Under the menu settings in the the cable box go left all the way over to options. Under options there is a remote control set up. There they will give you some sets of codes to try for your product.

Hi Chuck, I copied this from the MWD7006 manual - I hope it helps. If your TV is compatible with 525p (480p) progressive scanning and you want to enjoy that high quality picture, you must use Component Video cable connection and progressive scanning mode. To set the mode, set "PROGRESSIVE" to "ON" in SETUP menu, so that the "P-SCAN" indicator on the front panel lights up. When "PROGRESSIVE" is "ON", video signals from the unit's VIDEO OUT and S-VIDEO OUT jacks will be distorted or not be output at all. If your TV is not compatible with progressive scanning, use this unit in interlace mode and set "PROGRESSIVE" to "OFF" either in SETUP menu, or by pressing and holding [PLAY B] on the front of the unit for more than 5 seconds, so that the "P-SCAN" indicator on the front panel lights off. one of these philips/magnavox codes should work press dvd and ok buttons then release - the top row of buttons will blink twice - then enter 4 digit code - after which the dvd button will blink twice - then try power - if fails - try next code.

Rip the DVD to your computer and Re-burn with the correct region code.

Change the format of your movie to an AVI. or MPEG before burning it onto your DVD.

Hi designer it has to with the power voltage. And it select because not ALLmovie are to be played in the DvD. Work on the power pack that sustain it.
