Accumulates water on bottom floor below bins

I am pretty sure you are having a defrost drain blockage problem. Most defrost every eight hours and over a period of time the drain line that comes down from freezer into a cup like object top middle and back of the fresh food section. If blocked by gunk or ice you will see trails of liquid leaking down the rear wall of fresh food compartment until it reaches the crisper drawers. This is not always the same with every model as you may see frozen ice flowing down ther rear wall of freezers on side by sides. Here is an example Click here=> Whirlpool Leak Photo taken by TechnicianBrian He has been around a good bit and deserves credit for his contributions. Here is another way to make this look more si mple in clip below. TechnicianBrian.com And in this photo are several parts listed in photo group #1 were it is most likely running down the wall=> MagicChef CTB1921AR fresh food section. If you still have questions please ask and rate me if I was able to explain this well enough. Every refrigerator is made different so these are examples only. The key is to find if ice or just gunk has blocked you defrost drain. Unplug and then remove the rear panel in back of freezer. We need to see if the water is overflowing the condensate drain tray or if the blockage is in the turn the drain leads down back of your refrigerator. Much more on this page=> Leaking Refrigerators! Loose handle on a Sub Zero 611 with stainless steel front. Used various allen keys but nothing is catching.

Unfortunatly there is no easy way to do this, but your on the right track. The handles are held in place by set screws, meaning there is not nut or bolt, the screw itself just pushes against the metal causing firmness. I found it easiest to get long allen head wrenches, lay on the floor with a flashlight, look up into the shaft and try to picture the position in you head and have at it. Persistance is the only way you'll win that battle. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jason_4570d45317834dd3

Ice forming on the back wall of refrigerator

Hello there,

When you are experiencing ice build up in your refrigerator and a part of the refrigerator is not getting cold, either the fridge or freezer compartment. Then it means there is a problem with a part in the unit.

Investigate these three areas if frost and ice are forming in your freezer and your fridge is not cold enough, test Defrost Timer, Defrost Heater and the defrost thermostat when you detect where the problem is from, replace it.

Before you begin to test your defrost thermostat, defrost heater and defrost timer, make sure you disconnect the appliance's power supply.
Here are some tips for you to go through in order to solve the problem.

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

Subzero 695. The freezer

Hello Parnn,

I understand thating you are having to problems with you refrigerator one the lights are staying on, second the fridge is not getting cold.

The lights are not turning off because of the light switch. The switch needs replaced it is located on the door jamb so that when the door closes the light goes off.

The secound problem is usually the fan located with the evaperator coil. This fan pulls the air thru the coil and pushes it into the fridge section. When the unit is running you should be able to hear the fan running in the back of the freezer. If the fan is not running the freezer will stay cold but the fridge will not recieve any cool air.

In order to get parts for Sub-Zero Refridgerators you must contact them at 1-800-222-7820 and they will send you to their authorized parts distrubitors.

Freezer is on but refrigerator is off

on some of these high end appliances such as sub sero there are actually two compressors you would have to remove the top plate on the unit and look to see if this model is equipped that way, if that is the case it is possible that the compressor relay has failed and you are not getting any coolant sent to the refrigerator side... a second thing to check would be the thermostat for the refrigerator it is merely a switch and can fail by taking the two wires and putting them togather if unit comes on then you have a bad thermostat... hope this helps you out repost with anymore questions.... good luck and please vote....

The refrigerator light does not work. I cannot

Hello,

If you find the lights in your refrigerator do not work, check for the power supply. You need to see if the refrigerator is plugged in properly. Also check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. See if there is any damage to the electrical cord and check the outlet voltage. check for the temperature control. If it is off, turn it on. Also, unplug the refrigerator and clean the condenser coils.
Troubleshoot the problem and if you do not find any of the above reasons as the cause of refrigerator not working, call the repairman.

Take care.
